Posted: 28 May 2022 02:45 AM PDT So 2 years ago I played this game where you have to grind hard to even move, but I got tired so I downloaded an auto clicker and put it on while I do other things. However, since I was awake the whole night I fell asleep for over 10 hours, and when I woke up my laptop was turned off. Now my laptop was always faulty since it couldn't survive long after you take off the charger, but this time it was different. My laptop had 2 lights, one is for being turned on and the other is for the charger being plugged in, the 2nd light was red that time and I noticed that my battery is 94% and not moving. After a few days, the battery was 93%. Then I noticed that every 10 days battery goes down by 1%. I was fine with that, I didn't want to make problems for my family so I calculated that I have over 2 years with this laptop so i just let it be. Now the battery was 33% and I was already kind of sad because the end is near, but then my laptop completely died. No life was coming out of it, then it was just trash at that point. I wasn't angry I wasn't sad or anything I was just shocked. But after 15 days he just woke up idek how. Now this is the crazy part, it was the same old laptop but its battery went down to 28%, I guessed I did something that he couldn't handle so the battery lost more than it should. I got sleepy so I took a nap, and when I woke up, the red light turned white, and the battery was 100%. How??? I didn't even do anything? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 28 May 2022 02:07 AM PDT Hey, I have a predator gaming laptop with i7 8th gen, 1050ti and 8gb ram, and the battery life just terrible, i have to keep it on charge every-time because it just takes 20-30 mins for it to say low battery after being fully charged even when just using chrome. | Posted: 27 May 2022 11:14 PM PDT I launched a Kali Linux VM and goofed around it not any shady stuff just porn really and windows detected the iso as a trojan however since it's from another computer it's blocked and not running in the background i used task manager to confirm that. Despite the file not affecting my machine I can't seem to delete it and I used offline Microsoft defender scan and booted to safe mode to delete the file however none managed tk get rid off it. I'll use safe mode again but I'd likd to know if there is another user friendly option [link] [comments] | ||

I learned, from a neighbor, that the previous owner was a pretty famous whistle blower to a high up state official, which ultimately got that state official to step down. The scandals involved emails and computer data. I have read stories about this guy who lived here and found out that the FBI was knocking at his door, on multiple occasions. Well today, my partner, when putting steps in the backyard hit something with his shovel. It was three laptops. Windows 7 model and one apple computer. I'm curious, do people bury laptops in general because they don't want to put any potential of their personal information into the hands of garbage disposal companies or do you think this person was hiding something? I have to know! And, I guess what should we do with them? I like to think the previous owner was a "good guy" so don't really want to draw any attention to this beyond a Reddit post. I restarted it and since then it turns on (light comes on, I can hear the fan etc), but the screen never shows anything. I've done the things listed below (after watching many YouTube videos) and none fix the issues. Any ideas? What would you do? The laptop is an Acer Aspire V 13

I know that we have processors that are way more powerful than Intel Core i7-7820HK. But it had NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI and presumably excellent cooling system.
