Built-in Micro SD card slot won't read card Posted: 04 Mar 2022 01:29 PM PST Hello, As the title says above, my Samsung Galaxy Flex 2 Alpha's built-in Micro SD slot is not showing my card at all when inserted. My guess is maybe outdated drivers, but the laptop is relatively new, and I haven't used it that much. I have tried pushing the card in and making sure it is far enough. My SD card is also a Samsung card. If anyone knows what could be the issue, I would really appreciate the help. Thank you! [link] [comments]

Posted: 04 Mar 2022 01:08 PM PST My girlfriend needs a new laptop for college soon, all she'll be doing is internet browsing and stuff in Microsoft office. She might need some decent memory as well. Any recommendations? Budget is between $500-$700. Thank you! [link] [comments]
Is a more expensive laptop (1.2k) worth the money? Posted: 04 Mar 2022 01:01 PM PST I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3510. It has the 11th gen Intel i7, Intel iris xe graphics, 16gb ram and a 512gb ssd. I also discovered the Inspiron 16 plus, it also has the 11th gen i7, 16gb ram, a 1tb ssd, Nvidia GeForce rtx 3060. The Inspiron 15 seems to be working just fine and fits my needs, I mostly use it for school, occasional light gaming (Minecraft) and photo editing. Would it be worth it to upgrade to the Inspiron 16 plus? My biggest question is if the extra quality will improve the lifespan of the laptop over the Inspiron 15. Thanks [link] [comments]
Lenovo Yoga 6 vs MSI GS66 Stealth Posted: 04 Mar 2022 12:26 PM PST So I understand these are very different laptops but let give you some insight. I'm currently a mechanical engineering student. My desktop is a little dell computer with an i3 and 4gb ram. I've been needing a laptop and I just got the Lenovo Yoga 6 from Best Buy for $811 including tax. It comes with a Ryzen 7 5700U, 16gb Ram, 512 SSD and integrated graphics. It's a great portable laptop no question but I'm considering the long term use and max capability. With my career I'll be doing a lot of 3D modeling and using it to 3D print. I haven't played games recently cause I'm tired of how slow my Xbox is. Some spec that I'd like are more ports for faster connection and usage. So that's where I found the MSI GS66 Stealth on Best Buy for $1082 after tax. It come with a i7 10750H, 16gb ram, 512 SSD, and NVIDIA 2060. It has all the ports I want but of course I have to sacrifice the 2-1 touchscreen option, and maybe the battery life. Both of these laptops are steals but for $270 more I can unlock more capability. I also have 2 monitors so I would connect those to my laptop. I could still use Ethernet and more ports on my Lenovo if I got USB C Hub but my laptop would be a bit slower. If you were in my situation what would do? Again I'm look at the long term view. The price increase isn't the biggest deal in the world but it's still $270 for a college student. Let me know your opinion. Thanks [link] [comments]

I mistakenly short circuited my laptops's charging port. Posted: 04 Mar 2022 11:08 AM PST I was facing issues while charging my Lenovo Legion laptop so I opened the back cover and by mistake short circuited the charging port. After which my laptop didn't start. And now the Wifi card and battery are heating up without giving any external power. So can anyone suggest where the problem might be? [link] [comments]
Have you ever used a Kensington lock on a personal or work laptop (work mandation policies excluded) Posted: 04 Mar 2022 11:03 AM PST For those who have no idea what that is it's the weird little hole like a small USB port and it can be used to attach a cable lock. You might have seen them hooked up in some electronics store laptops. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Mar 2022 10:54 AM PST what's the best 900 euro or 1000$ laptop? not gaming because the weight and the look and it can the entire Adobe programs and some photoshop and editing It would be a plus to have 3050 gpu and maybe an i7 or i5 [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Mar 2022 10:46 AM PST Hi. Can you guys help me? I recently got a new laptop with decent innards (RTX 3050, i5-11300H, 8GB RAM. Just listing a few specs) and I have a problem. Every game I play it either lags or starts jittering. As a desktop it runs great but the gaming aspect really dissapoints. What confuses me is that I have an older model of my new laptop (GTX 1650, i5-9400f 8GB RAM) and it runs games without issues. I'm so confused about this. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
