My reccomendations on games you should play! (includes paid and free)

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 10:48 PM PST

Magic survival - A roguelike where you are a magical being that over time, learns powerful spells to fight off hundreds of enemies! (It still runs really well!) - free - optional ads - has IAPs - Offline

    Sub slowly fading away?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 03:17 AM PST

Very few comments or upvotes on most posts anymore

It seems the sub is slowly fading.

Maybe it's the daily "which game, that is in my history, but can't be bothered checking" questions, or the daily "recommend me a city building game/mmo?"questions.

Or the videos with no comments? Maybe a combo of all three and more.

Time for a rethink, or maybe it's my imagination?

Proof that NOVA 3:Freedom Edition is broken on modern devices

    Feel the hype? 🔥

Hi guys! So I have S10+ for a while and it's starting to lag recently. My phone has 128GB storage but my work also use a lot of storage. I want to add 64GB Samsung EVOPLUS card and move all the game to SD card but I don't know if it will affect my game performance or not. Will it be better or worse?

Simple mechanics, lots of depth, clean UI, pick up and play: let's share recs.

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 09:47 AM PST

Hey folks, looking for more recs for (imo) the best kind of mobile game - simple but deep, with a polished feel and no bullshit arbitrary progression or gating to prevent you from just getting into things. The kind of games that stick around on your phone for years and years.

Most of y'all are probably familiar with the classics: Triple Town, Threes, Drop7, Dungeon Raid (RIP... though I hear Troll Patrol is an OK remake), and the original Puzzle Craft.

Recently I've been obsessed with Tower Swap - I can play this for hours but it takes like 2 seconds to learn. High score of 5082 on the base game, and the weekend guild events have me coming back regularly.

Atomas and Make7 (but only the "3 Blocks" mode) are newer ones that I've been enjoying as well though I think they don't quite have the same level of staying power.

Honorable mention to Blendoku2 and Hungry Cat Nonograms, which are level-based but have really clean UI and a lot of content. Tuesday Quest (Hungry Cat dev) also has their older game Puzzle Forge II on iOS which is IMO one of the best merge games of all time.

Anyways, would love to hear more recs in this vein and hear what new simple games y'all are playing these days.

    Template:

    Single/Multiplayer: any

    Genre: puzzle I guess?

    Online/Offline: any

    Monetization/Cost: any

    Portrait/Landscape: any

Key Features: Good UI, lots of depth, little to no mass market corporate bullshit / bloat.

So... I played NOVA 3 in 2022, a very good game with good graphics and voice acting ( especially for 2012) but unfortunately it is unplayable on modern devices after a certain point

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 03:32 PM PST

Is there any good way to get these games on non-shield devices? I can't buy them (obviously) and trying to get my hands on the apks and obbs has been rather hit or miss. I'm aware they may not work perfectly, but I'd like to at least try.

    Falling alphabet game

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 08:50 PM PST

Hi people. I was looking for a game that I had played long time ago on my android phone. So basically, it had random alphabets falling downwards with a clock ticking where you have to make words out of the falling alphabets before the time runs out. The name of the game was either "Lettered" or "Letter red" the game is not available in the playstore. Can anyone please point me in the direction where I may find the aforementioned game. Thanks.

InBento is a great little game (free with Play Pass)

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 02:38 PM PST

I paid for Play Pass a few days ago and I've downloaded a bunch of games to play. One of them is InBento. It's a cute little game where you play as a mom cat preparing bento lunch boxes for her little kitty son (or daughter, idk).

It's a puzzle game, no time counters or any pressure of any kind. You have to order sushi in boxes following a few simple rules.

The graphics are just beautiful, simple pastel colours and cute shapes, everything fits perfectly. Sound is also great, relaxing and unintrusive.

If you are looking for a simple relaxing game I would definitely recommend it. It costs $2.99 or comes free with your Play Pass

Whenever I try to use an autoclicker, it says, "turned off because your device is too slow" so I searched up a tutorial, and turned on the allow overlays option in developer settings, and it still dosent work. Anyone know anything about this?

A Lot Of NO!!! A Lot Of Yes!!! Picky and Looking for suggestions!

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 02:51 PM PST

EDIT: If anything just suggest a game with a good storyline

    DEEP BREATH....

    Okay...

Hi. I am looking for a new video game to play. This LIST is personalized for MY STYLE. I have $75 and prefer free or cheap games but I can pay as much as $20 for a masterpiece with NO micro transactions.

    NO LIST

    • I do NOT want a First Person Shooter.

    • I do NOT want a AFK game.

    • I do NOT want a solely PVP game.

    • I do NOT want a solely PVE game.

    • I do NOT want a Forced Team Play game.

    • I do NOT want a game with Mandatory Micro Transactions

    • I do NOT like games with mindless killing.

    • I do NOT want MINDLESS Character Dialogue.

    • I do NOT want an ENDLESS game.

    • I do NOT want EXTREME graphics.

    YES LIST

    • I DO want a game with extensive well thought out dialogue. I like reading and I like characters that have CHARACTER.

    • I DO want a game where the things I do in the game seem important or even change the outcome.

    • I DO want a game with relationships. Where I can feel the characters value me or have something to do with me.

    • I DO prefer a game with a good storyline

    • I would be okay with a social only game where you just talk to people as long as it's not heavy on Micro Transactions and people actually want friends and a relationship.

    • Game with Actual Ending. A 5 to 50 Hour game is okay. IF the storyline or gameplay is amazing I can play for hundred of hours.

    • Notes:

I really like Romance AND Horror. A game involving friendship, family, love relationship would be good. A Game with arguing and fighting or ruined relationships

    • Some Android Games I liked:

    The Bard

    Alter Ego

    7 Years From Now

Dokkan Battle (Mainly liked because I watch DBZ)

    • Some other non Android Games I have played in the past 15 years.

RuneScape, Gaia Online, Second Life, Animal Jam, VR Chat, Pony Town, Life Is Strange, Her Lie I Tried To Believe.

Honestly I would be on those if I had a computer but I don't right now.

    • GBA Games/Playstation Games from like 20 years ago:

Pokemon, QBert, Medabots, Final Fantasy, Beyblade, Harry Potter, YuGiOh, Duel Masters

    I need your help

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 12:20 PM PST

good afternoon! I would like to make a query, I have an Android game in memory that was about the functions of the cell phone. and you were advancing as you interacted with the mobile (volume up and down; shake it; charge it; etc), but I don't remember the name. Does anyone know what game I'm talking about?

    Forest walking simulator I think?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2022 05:30 PM PST

I remember it being very known (more than 1million downloads), you could enconter other 'players' on the way, there was a balloon with micro transactions I think? The way you managed inventory was also very unique, the items were like in 3d and you could literally move them around your backpack to make them fit, artstyle was like voxels, please let me know if you remember the name
