Does anyone know how long it will take before they release Spark email for Windows? I've been on the waitlist for at least a year and they haven't sent any information regarding the release whatsoever.

Until then I guess I'm stuck with outlook and the standard email client on windows :/

Encrypting Wireless SSID Password

I'm writing a simple C++ program to add a wireless profile to Windows 11 machines. We plan to send this out to multiple computers via Azure or Kace for our organization.

The process is quite simple:

Encrypt the password with CryptProtectData, such as:
- CryptProtectData(&DataIn, L"", NULL, NULL, NULL, 0, &DataOut);
Construct an XML file for the profile with the encrypted password
Install the profile with WlanSetProfile

However, when trying to connect, Windows will ask for the password. What's interesting is this worked fine for Windows 7. When using CryptProtectData and WlanSetProfile, are there any new things I should be doing for Windows 11?

Edit: I figured it out. Had to pass CRYPTPROTECT_LOCAL_MACHINE as the flag for Windows to recognize it.
