Whis is a better RAM configuration? Posted: 25 Feb 2022 08:06 AM PST So for my Ryzen 9 5900HS laptop with 8 gb soldered ram at 3200 MHz, I already have an 8 GB external stick with 3200 MHz making for a total 16 GB ram. I salvaged a 16 GB stick from a different laptop clocked at 2600MHz. A virtual machine is not an option, so I want to find a Windows laptop that will not be much inferior to a Macbook in terms of performance. Budget up to $1100, tasks - editing in After Effects, Premiere, working with sound in Ableton and so on. A good battery life is desirable, the size and diagonal do not matter, but the weight should be up to 3 kg. Good cooling is also important to avoid throttling. For some reason since yesterday, the caps lock light keeps blinking for a long time. After holding the caps lock for about 30 seconds, it completely shuts off and doesn't turn on. Archaic External Hard Drive, Mysterious Cables Required: Please Help! Posted: 25 Feb 2022 02:18 AM PST Hi, everyone. So, I recently found an external hard drive in an attic that I thought I lost over 10 years ago. That thing holds basically my entire adolescence on it and I was so excited!... until I realized I have no idea what kind of cable plugins it requires. (The cables are of course missing.) The external hard drive is a Fantom Drives GreenDrive 1TB. Amazingly, I can link you to the exact model, and you can zoom into both the cable plugin slots AND pictures of the cables themselves! However, for the love of Zeus, please tell what kind of cables they are so that I can purchase them (particularly for the "eSATA" slot, and the other slot with a circular plug-in). I will be so, so, so grateful for your help!
