- The other day my laptop started doing this everytime i plug the charger (i dont have a battery) , after the first reboot it works normally but everytime i plug the charger it turns on by itself and reboots once. Model: Asus rog gl502vsk

I live in Europe and my budget is around 1500 euro. From my research I was thinking to buy either a Vostro or Inspiron 7000 series. The laptop will be used for: Home office while docked to two monitors Around the house and in cafes for excel analysis, report building, copywriting, zoom meetings etc Traveling to customer offices for demos light to medium gaming (CS GO but also some Elden Ring on low specs from time to time) What I care most is: Very high speed (i7) and 12-16 gb of Ram Quality display (now I use an old latitude and the screen is terrible with greyish colours and hard on the eye) Portable but 15 inch To have a dedicated GPU but not the best on the market Webcam 5HR+ battery life To look small, stilish What do you think would be best between Vostro and Inspiron and would you suggest something different? Whenever an app crashes for whatever reason, I can't run it again unless I restart windows. Serious hidden ctd means that in task manager I saw the app in the processes panel it just stay there for like 10 seconds building up memory with nothing launching in the background and then it disappeared. Tried launching it back several times with altering compatability, admin rights, DPI scaling turned off and still the same. What bothers me is that I'm tired of reinstalling windows even after buying another copy and also restarting is like 5 seconds due to a nvme but still it annoys me when it's a game that crashed. I later thought it had something to do with my graphics but changing quality to low did nothing. So, anyone can help me fix this? I just get like 2 hours every three days to try my purchased games as I work day and night shifts every day as an intern doctor, I really hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance. | Posted: 22 Feb 2022 09:20 PM PST Hi guys, I am a little new in this world of laptop and it's caring, so I need a little help before making a decision. I purchased a HP Laptop 17-by4063 on Saturday. When I received the laptop, the operative System (Windows 10) was a little slow, I updated the OS and the drivers until everything was completely up to date. But, after installing some applications and checked the device I noticed some issues regarding with screen freezing: This happened three time, the first during Saturday and the second during Sunday. The screen completely froze during the time I was using Opera GX to watch some videos, after that everything was completely functional once I performed a forced shutdown. The second time it happened during the time I was checking some settings, once again, forced shutdown and everything was functional. Finally, today I literally left my laptop for some minutes and when I returned once again the screen was froze. This is not an issue that happens all the times, it happens randomly after some time periods when it was completely functional. Something that catched my attention at at the beginning I thought it was the cause was that this happened before some configurations regarding the system. This third time I was just cleaning the computer using CC cleaner and after completing and using the laptop normally, the issue appeared once I left for some minutes. I am not sure if this is Windows related or it's an issue of the Laptop Hardware, I performed the disk fragmentation yesterday and everything was completely functional without any problems, but I prefer to be sure this is not an issue that could create more problems in a future. I turned off the fast start up during Sunday I need a little help in order to know what is happening and if it's necessary to reimage windows or using the warranty and return the unit.
