Posted: 23 Feb 2022 06:10 PM PST Inspired by the recent MKBHD camera review of the S22 Ultra, where he pretty much summed it up with, "Yeah, it's good," and that pretty much being the end of it. That seems to be the general consensus on most flagship devices these days, but I'm curious what features would you like to see? Me: Larger sensors with a full readout, and not just lenses using part of them... cough Sony Xperia Pro 1 cough. And probably the return of an adjustable aperture. Since software tweaks and color rendition is going to be wholly subjective, and megapixels are pretty moot if we're all compressing for social media, I feel like true hardware is the future. What say you? [link] [comments] |
