Should I go for S21+ or Note 20 Ultra Posted: 27 Nov 2021 06:11 AM PST My OP7T has been giving me some very bad SoT and its quite buggy and laggy. So I want to go with samsung. But I cant decide between S21+ and Note 20 Ultra. I looked at S21 and S21 Ultra but the Ultra doesnt seem to be such a improvement for the extra money. And the base S21 have a small battery, something I dont want to go through again. I like the S21+ bc of the long SoT and better performance of the chip (which is not very important to me since i dont play, just browsing, yt, reddit and a little big of camera) But I also like the Note 20 Ultra bc Im in love with the design since it came out and its better than the S21+ in everything except battery and chip imo. So I want to hear some of your opinions, I cant decide. My main question is how much does the battery on your Note 20 Ultra's with Exynos hold up? Both are around 750 dollars (second hand) in my country so its only the difference in the phones that matter to me, not the price. [link] [comments] |
Appreciation for S21 Ultra's noise cancelling Posted: 26 Nov 2021 02:12 PM PST I've recently upgraded from Huawei P20. Once after speaking to my wife while in the car, I apologized for the noise. But when she said that she couldn't hear any noise, I was shocked, since i was going through a tunnel with a car that's not very insulated. So today, I thought I'd try talking to my friend while going through the car wash. It was so loud that I couldn't even hear my own voice. I apologized to him as well, but even he said that he couldn't detect any background noise while only hearing me. The microphone filter is absolutely out of this world. Thank you Samsung. Issues since the last update, anyone else having them? Posted: 27 Nov 2021 06:31 AM PST I'm using the samsung galaxy S21. Been having a number of issues since the phone last updated itself. Buttons randomly being pressed on the screen, the phone turning itself on and off randomly, and now when I play music in my car, connected through USB, it lists all the music in their original downloaded forms, even though I've edited the tags and everything so that it's easier for me to navigate songs. (This is a fairly new phone, only had it for about 4 months. Never dropped it, no water damage, not downloaded anything other then work related stuff and music of course) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2021 04:24 PM PST I am a very happy Galaxy S7 user since it came out. Today I saw I can buy an A52s for 349 US$. A lot of people suggest me to look for the S20 FE but in my country it costs around 600 US$. Do you think is it worth to buy an A52s? Is it more of an upgrade or a downgrade? Thanks! All my musics have the same picture on the Samsung Music app (I have the A22) Posted: 27 Nov 2021 08:09 AM PST |
Posted: 26 Nov 2021 10:25 PM PST Over this past year I've bought a
The only thing missing is a phone. I've always used cheap sub 150$ Android phones since my tabs/laptop do the heavy lifting and I'm not a camera or social media fanatic and I just use it for calls and messages. However, I'm a step away from full integration with the ecosystem and finding it difficult to not take the plunge. So which is the cheapest Samsung phone that will let me a) call and text on other devices: let my wifi tablet and watch pick up calls and get notifications on wifi b) quick and seamless sharing between devices for eg tab and phone c) auto switch buds between watch, tab and phone based on video/call in each etc d) auto settings like bedtime mode on my watch leads to bedtime mode on my phone and fully utilise my watch with camera from watch/Ecg etc e) Dex mode so I can use phone and tv. f) optional: wireless power share to reverse charge buds and watch with phone(willing to let go of this if the price runs up too high) . Can I get away with a cheaper galaxy a /m series phone ? Or would I need to go with the s series? Also, apart from the 6 benefits above are there any other benefits from having a phone, tab, buds, watch and tv in the Samsung eco system? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2021 06:07 PM PST So I'm coming from a Moto G Power and have wanted a flip phone for quite awhile and the Z Flip3 checks all the boxes. I can get it for cheap right now and have been wondering how it's been for everyone? I'm the typical dad so my phone isn't in my face 24/7. I maybe look at Reddit before bed for an hour and surf the web a bit. I got my G Power for huge battery for when I go out but I loved the camera for the Z Flip3 when I saw it in stores. I guess more over what I'm asking is are there any technical downsides? Does it shut off randomly for anyone or anything weird? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Nov 2021 08:23 AM PST Did your device receive the latest Android 12 update? I have Galaxy S20 FE 5G - NO UPDATE My brother has Galaxy S21 Ultra - received the update Samsung promised 3 years updates for Galaxy S20 FE, hope I'll get the 12 update too. [link] [comments] |
Why does the Accidental Touch "Protection" work at the worst time? Posted: 26 Nov 2021 06:20 PM PST Sort of muscle memory to grasp things in my pockets, including my phone. Most times when my skin is touching the screen while in my pocket, it goes to emergency dial, always, without fucking fail. Later I'd take it out and the thing never fucks off. I have justed moved from an S7 to 20 - all these new fancy shmancy features suck my dick which, yes, I do also grasp via my pockets. [link] [comments] |
Question about Galaxy Flip3 F711B - International version (dual sim) Posted: 26 Nov 2021 06:52 PM PST Hello r/Samsung! I'm extremely interested in purchasing the Flip3, but am not fully convinced I can. Dual Sim functionality is a deal breaker as I use both ATT (physical sim) and Verizon (eSim) in my Pixel 5 as a personal/work device. Obviously the US version of the device does not have dual sim functionality, but if I were to purchase the international version (via eBay) would I be able to use this same ATT/Verizon setup? Preferably keeping Verizon eSim, but even if I have to flip flop and use ATT as an eSim and Verizon as a physical sim? Thanks in advance for your advice. Double points if you have a similar dual US setup on your device (especially with Verizon as one carrier). [link] [comments] |
Is the Mystic Bronze color like a pink? Posted: 26 Nov 2021 06:24 PM PST Got it as a gift for my dad and didn't realize I had picked bronze and not black. They are all sold out now so I am stuck with it. Just wondering how pinkish it looks? I know I know, pink doesn't mean it's for girls [link] [comments] |
How much 'battery health' is affected by daily wireless charging irl? Posted: 26 Nov 2021 03:17 PM PST I know that wireless chargers do use more electricity and does generate a heat in the prices of charging it phone which is not healthy for lithium ion batteries in our phones. But I just wanted to know irl experiences with the same.. how has the phone's battery health held up in 2-3 years and is it advisable to charge the Samsung buds wirelessly given they have considerably less no. of useful years. Will There Be A New "Mini" Galaxy Phone? Posted: 26 Nov 2021 10:00 PM PST I'm in the market for a new phone and really like everything about the s21 but I'd honestly prefer something smaller than the s7 edge that I have now. Because of this the iPhone 12/13 mini have caught my eye but I think that the s21 is a better value and I'm already in the Samsung ecosystem. Anyway I'm curious if there have been any rumors about a successor to the s10e. I would just get that phone but it doesn't have 5g. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2021 05:26 PM PST I managed to score a set of buds2 for free. But I was wondering has anyone here had issues with them basically popping out of your ear? If so how did you solve it? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Nov 2021 08:58 PM PST I've been using the Note since before they had numbers and I've always had them in an Otterbox Defender case. I'm fairly clumsy and was a truck driver for years, so my phone was always taking abuse. Now I'm shopping for a new phone but I'm not certain that adequate protection will be available. Do the new flip/fold phones have a good case that will protect them while still allowing them to function the way they're designed? Is there a good protective case for these screens that go all the way to the edge of the phone? What is a good new phone model that has a "life proof" case available already? Thanks for advise and input. [link] [comments] |
Galaxy Watch 3 vs Watch 4 Classic Posted: 26 Nov 2021 08:10 PM PST Thinking a little bit about upgrading the Watch 3 to the 4 classic because of the Black Friday sale, but I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade. I'm also curious about the new OS. My Watch 3 works fine however. I don't use it for tracking exercise either other than steps. Anyone experience the upgrade themselves and find whether it's worth the upgrade or not? [link] [comments] |
I want to add speakers to my Q900T soundbar, but I'm struggling. Posted: 26 Nov 2021 08:09 PM PST So far I've purchased two speakers to test. SWA-9100S and SWA-9500S. Anyone know which one will work? I've read online very conflicting comments on the SWA-9500s comparability with T series sound bars. The SWA-9100S arrived, but are less than exceptional. They're okay but I don't see anywhere to adjust the settings. I also get a small echo. I'm thinking about canceling the order for the 9500S, but wanted to get the armchair techs opinion first.
