Please help, I just found my old HTC phone with all the Dogecoin I bought years ago - It still takes a charge and will boot up to the splash screen, but I cannot advance beyond that! Posted: 02 Jul 2021 07:58 AM PDT I have Dogecoin stored on my old HTC device that will still charge and boot up to the splash screen, but not beyond it. I can get it into recovery mode. I either need to get to the Home Screen to get into the dogecoin wallet app, OR pull my recovery/backup file off the internal storage (unibody metal design = no SD card in this case). Details: * HTC One (Sprint Variant) * Stuck at splash screen that reads "HTC One" * Need to get to home screen without data loss (no hard resets) to access my DogeCoin wallet app OR * Need to pull recovery file for wallet from the device (But HOW??? :( ) * I can boot to recovery mode * This issue started when the device forced an android update… (When I finally found my old HTC, I was able to turn it on just fine and access my Dogecoin wallet - however this forced update has caused the phone to no longer boot past the splash screen… ) submitted by /u/i_died_of_course [link] [comments]
