A Collection of Funny/Rude/Odd Play Store Reviews That I have Collected So Far As a Developer

This is a really fun game. Definitely worth the money

[DEV] Overworld! A coffee break roguelike for Android. Please join the open beta, link in comments.

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 07:49 AM PDT

[DEV] I currently working on a card-based dungeon crawler. I reworked the card system a bit and added some new cards. The new card system is similar to Slay the Spire but because the 2 types of energy (stamina, mana) adds another depth to the combat. Now I have to fill the game with interesting cards

[REQUEST] Casual, customisable RPGs like Grimquest? Preferably single-player

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 10:40 PM PDT

By "casual", I mean games that

    a. Don't necessitate many pages of guides for a total beginner to RPGs to understand

    b. Don't need you to compete against a long-established player base with lots of microtransactions and whaling (that's the reason I could never get into multiplayer gacha games)

    c. You can just play it for a short while everyday and put it down whenever

Ideally, I would like it to have some amount of character customizability, in terms of different play styles or builds or personality, rather than just one best way to play it. Also, never quite liked any idle component to a game (waiting around and letting the app run for hours to get something).

I'm ok with paying money for the game itself, but gacha/microtransactions strike me as too lottery-like and p2w.

Grimquest has a dark fantasy theme and medievalish art style, but I'm ok with other genres, themes and aesthetics (actually kinda like an anime style but it seems like almost all of those have big established player bases with a p2w gacha system).

Anyone tried out Amazon Luna? I have

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 10:06 AM PDT

I guess its still in the beta stages cus I had to apply to try it out and got an email few days later saying I got it and gave me a link. There's 2 tiers: the 5.99/month and 14.99/ month. Im trying the 5.99/month plan and I get 7 days free at first so i can cancel if im not satisfied.

Obviously the cheaper tier is not gonna have all the games, actually most of the games are like the indie, Kickstarter games. Most of them were already on the Xbox Game Pass so nothing new. The only games im playing are Ys 8, Metro Exodus, and Control. So far the actual streaming is good, no hardcore lagging or anything. Im using my T-6 Helios gamepad, works well. For 6 bucks a month, its ok but i hear thats the early price, it might go up. I might keep it a month or so cus I really am digging those 3 games.

I know thr 15$ a month has all the Ubisoft games but might as well get the Xbox Game Pass for that price

    Zombie Survival games

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 12:58 PM PDT

I've been playing last day on earth survival but it's becoming more and more obvious that you have to drop money to be any good or do anything. Any recommendations for similar games that aren't so p2w?

    ISO controller supported Golfing

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 08:49 PM PDT

As the title mentions, I am in search of a Tiger Woods (xbox360) style golf game for Android with controller support. It can be paid or free (please don't recommend ad-bloated games) or on/off-line, though some pVp would be cool. Any suggestions? Thanks

Anybody know of any good collecting games?

    Posted: 04 Jul 2021 12:24 AM PDT

Something kinda like the Topps apps but with at least some actual gameplay. I loved collecting the cards in those apps but they got boring after awhile because they weren't really games. Funko Pop Blitz is the closest thing I've found to what I'm looking for but that game sucks. It's way too grindy.

My next project will be a Dungeon ARPG (DevLog #4); here you can see the first prototype of the Stats & Passive Skill Tree. What do you think about it?

Is runner genre dead? I haven't seen many new runner games on android(except hypercasual trash), do you think it's not interesting to players anymore?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 04:33 AM PDT

What's a game/games you would recommend that is without adds or in app purchases (can be paid also) ?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 10:39 AM PDT

For example, for me it's mini motor racing, it costs around 3 euros but that's all you gonna pay..it's old but that's maybe why it's so enjoyable...

    Best Mobile Games With Controller?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 12:10 PM PDT

[REQUEST] So I recently discovered you can use a Ps5 controller as a gamepad, which made me realize all the potential games I could now play that originally I never even looked at. Any recommendations for good games that utilize a controller well? Or games that are better played with a controller? I like FPS games so that's a definite maybe now that I can actually use a controller. Survival games are also fun. Just some examples. Also if possible would like the input lag to be relatively low if possible?

What do you use to calibrate or keymap the ipega 9023?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 01:32 PM PDT

It connects to bluetooth but the assignments are wonky, there must be some way to assign keys right?

I downloaded octopus but it said I wasn't connected to a device, even though i was connected to the 9023.

What do you use to map keys thanks!

[REQUEST] Love Genshin Impact, Looking for more GOOD free to play mobile games. (please hear me out.)

    Posted: 03 Jul 2021 09:22 AM PDT

I'd like to find some more free to play mobile games that are really really good.

Looking for game that doesn't have a stamina system(or is free to wait in any super impactful way)

Something you can play for several hours without having to stop.

Also something you never have to pay money just to progress through the game.

I also want something that isn't super hard, so no rogueish/soulslikes games please or I'd also prefer it have a big focus on at least decent dialogue.

Oh, and pvp doesn't interest me, so please don't recommend stuff like Fortnite and such. I'm also not into building, so please don't recommend Minecraft and such.

My 2 favorite Free to play games are Path of Exile, and Warframe. They're not mobile games of course, but they're great examples of the types of games I'm looking for.

My favorite free(not just free to play) mobile game is Vampire's Fall: Origin. God was it fun, and it had a pretty good story.

If you need any more information, please, just ask.

Edit: I'd also love to find a review site or youtube channel that covers mobile games and makes it very clear about the free to play restrictions.
