| Posted: 02 May 2021 05:09 AM PDT So I've always been a samsung fan boy and had the s5, and now s7. Had them for years but I want a change. Fed up of getting bad software support. Never liked the idea of iPhone but want to try something new and have always been quite intrigued by OnePlus since their 3t. Not sure where to start on their range. I dont want anything too expensive like their newest range but I was gearing towards the the 5, 5t or 6, 6t. Even maybe 7 or 7t. Im from the UK and would preferably want to buy it brand new out the box.

| Posted: 02 May 2021 11:04 AM PDT Yesterday, I dropped my 3T in the parking lot, without noticing. A few hours later I noticed IT was missing. All we could find was the screen and protector, completely mangled and broken. Clearly a car had driven over it. So I need to get a new phone. Getting a new or second hand 3T crossed my mind, since I loved it. But IT was getting low on storage. Which oneplus would be the logical choice now? [link] [comments]  | ||
| OnePlus + GCam 2x Zoom Question Posted: 02 May 2021 03:25 PM PDT Hello, I'm using a OP Nord which has a 48MP main cam, pixel-binning to 12MP. When using 2x Zoom in the Stock App, I get a 12MP photo which uses the full 48MP and crops 12MP out of it (to get a "real" 2x Zoom). What happens, if I use GCam with 2x Zoom? GCam can't access the full 48MP AFAIK. Will it instead use a normal 12MP pixel-binned image and just upscale it digitally afterwards? If so, wouldn't the 2X image in GCam be much worse than from the Stock App? [link] [comments]  | ||

But on my 4K TV it was a different story. When I connected it, the phone was laggy and there was a lot of input lag when playing games. On my tv Game Mode, there was less slowdown, but still it was annoying. So, I thought that the reason was that my hub only supports 30hz, hence I bought this one here that supports 4k@60hz https://www.amazon.com/VAVA-Adapter-Delivery-Headphone-MacBook/dp/B08RZ3XG52/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb+c+hub+60hz&qid=1619989206&sr=8-3 Unfortunately, when I connected it, my phone just froze and I had to do a forced reset. | Posted: 02 May 2021 12:04 PM PDT Hey guys, I had a rough month due to my internet access operator cutting my network suddenly. Anyway, I used USB Tethering during about 20-25 days, everyday to have internet. Now that my phone is no longer plugged on my computer H24, it looks like my battery is dying. My OnePlus 5 will restart out of the blue during a call, or when unlocking it. The phone would display 45% battery and a second latter die with 0%. Genuine 3 camera array where all cameras have their real purpose (no gimmicky depth & macro lenses. No gimmicks like hasselblad branding etc, so price to performance ratio was excellent. | High priority notifications don't show Posted: 02 May 2021 02:05 PM PDT Within the last few weeks I have noticed that when I get a call, the answer call screen doesn't appear any more. I have to leave my current app and dig through the menus to answer. Today I set an alarm, and when it chimed I had to dig through the notification menu to stop the damn thing. Problem is that when I activated it, it asked me which arm I was using. I marked right arm, since I didn't want to stop using my old one until I was confident that I was happy with the new one. So now I've dropped my old watch and moved it to my left arm. Problem is that I I can't find any setting in the app for which arm it's on. Do I have to reset it? Lose all the data? Any ideas? Posted: 02 May 2021 10:04 AM PDT My OnePlus 7t has updated recently on April, and ever since I have been experiencing a few issues here and there, but nothing is as annoying nor as common as the touch screen issues. My phone has been working excellently until now. Whenever I hold down the finger on the touch screen (to scroll through articles/tabs, to type, or to play) the touch screen goes bananas and randomly starts "touching" on random areas even though I am only touching one specific spot. I am not sure if this is a common bug with the new OS update or whatnot, but it is incredibly frustrating and very annoying to deal with. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, is there a way to help fix it? I have a OnePlus 7t that's a little over a year old, with a screen protector (that has two thin, barely noticeable cracks from a few months ago). I have not installed anything nor tampered with the touch screen or the phone itself prior to these issues. [link] [comments]  | ||
