    As a bit of a belated Christmas gift, I'm launching this giveaway in collaboration with 4 amazing indie developers to celebrate MiniReview reaching 10k total downloads (thank you SO much for the support! <3).

    It's important to shine some light on indie devs making fantastic premium mobile games, and these developers definitely deserve it! :)

    Akirobots by FlatPonies - 50 keys

    AkiRobots is a 2D puzzle platformer where you control multiple characters simultaneously. The goal is simple; Get an Aki to a socket to win. The game includes 100 levels and players can modify existing levels, create new levels to share and import other players' levels via the level editing and sharing system.

    Pixelot by Kyle Berger - 100 keys

    Pixelot is a humorous Pokémon-inspired JRPG where our ever-growing group of heroes are tasked with saving the world by collecting crystals through exploring towns, completing fetch quests for villagers, delving into dungeons for unique loot, and getting new heroes to join our cause.

    Labyrinth of Legendary Loot by Dominaxis Games - 25 keys

    Labyrinth of Legendary Loot is the mobile port of a unique free PC turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler that streamlines progression by relying solely on loot, as opposed to levels and xp, to gain new abilities and increase our health, attack, and magic stats.

    Are there any fun asynchronous games you can play with 4 people?

    For anyone unfamiliar with the term 'asynchronous' it means the players don't have to be active in the game simultaneously. An example is 'Words With Friends'.

    Hi y'all, me and a friend are looking for good ios/android cross-platform strategy games. I'm a big fan of 4x or board game style games. As far as apps go, I love games like Starbase Orion, Star Traders 4x, Eclipse New Dawn, Waterdeep, etc. Games like waterdeep and other strategy board game adaptations are preferred. Something Civilization like as well.

    Any mini racing games that give the feel of GT2 (buy cheap car, upgrade, repeat)?

    Im not really looking for sim level graphics or racing, even very basic top down would be cool.

    Im more into buying a cheap car, racing it to earn money to upgrade it then eventually buying a new car.

    So lots of cars and upgrades would be a big part. Hell it could even be an idle game!

    Hello,

    I have been struggling to find any games to scratch my itch. I'm looking for games with clans/guilds, something with a community aspect. Progtedding through loot teirs is something enjoyable for me as well. PVP is also a plus.

    I'm not fond of idle games or games that have too much "energy recharging".

    Alert! The game named Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron by Phosphor Games Studio is now available in the Google Play Store. It's $4.99 or free if you subscribe to Play Pass. This is a warning to all, Phosphor Games Studio is known for not updating their games, causing them to stop working once newer versions of Android are released. The games below are prime examples of what Phosphor Games Studios released but no longer work due to the developer abandoning them. Please beware as this new game will suffer the same fate as their previous releases!

    Is there and an alternative discovery 'store' for android game where we can sort by rating?

    There used to be an excellent site, the name of which now escapes me, where you could search the play store by a series of criterias. For example you could :

    a. text search for 'geolocation games'

    b. get a list with the usual suspect just like the play store

    c. filter by '4 stars and up'

    d. add more filters such as 'contains IAP'

    e. keep stacking filters including 'availabity in country xyz'

    In other words, like app nanny but for the end user.

    It made discovering little known, fantastic android games very easy.

    Help me remember the name of this VVVVV inspired endless runner from 2016!

    Title says it all. Used to play it all the time, but can't remember the name. You controlled a square that could only flip gravity and ran forever in a tunnel that was a main color but kept changing across the spectrum to all of them, all a fair tad desaturated. Then there was a black and white second stage. The music was AWESOME! all famitracks.

    Android source ports for PC games ?

    Some I can think of are: Quad Touch (Quake 1,2,3 and Hexen 2), Delta Touch (Doom 1,2,3), Freedoom (Doom 1,2), OpenMicrowave (Morrowind), ScummMV (Old point and click PC games)

    Can i use Perfected Doom 3 on Delta Touch ? If yes who do i do this ?

    I finally bought Delta Touch and put doom 3 and roe on my phone, i wonder if is possible use the Perfected mod, i tried load from Mod option on doom 3 main menu, but only appears the engine and RoE, someone know if it's possible and who to do ? Thanks for any answer.

    Best controller for Android to use headphones with?

    I'm really pissed off at the lack of options we have when it comes to controllers.

    I know you can just use a console controller with a clip but I like the specialized USB c controllers more.

    Razer Kishi seems to be hit and miss and doesn't have a headphone jack so its garbage because bluetooth headphones have latency when gaming.

    Backbone got paid off by Apple and won't grace the Android with their technology.

    Are there any other high quality controllers out there or did we get screwed on this one?

    Galaxy buds plus gaming mode is a joke, latency is still there.

    Using an Xbox One controller to Android Phone with USB (not bluetooth)

    I'm tired of the bluetooth lag and bad connection between my Xbox One S controller and my phone, OnePlus 5T. So I've been trying to connect them wired, but there's conflicting and confusing information about whether this even works. I haven't been able to get it to work with a micro-usb cable connected to the controller, with a USB-C to A adapter in my phone.

    Has anyone been able to get a wired connection to work between an Xbox controller and Android phone?

    Does anyone know if using a USB-C OTG adapter might solves this? I always assumed that with the dawn of USB-C on phones, we wouldn't need OTG anymore. But there still are USB-C OTG adapters, which makes me think perhaps they force the phone to behave like the host, while a regular USB-C connection doesn't.

    I would really appreciate any information anyone can share about this. Thanks.
