Help with Bluetooth Failing on waking from sleep mode

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 12:49 PM PDT

Hello, I'm hoping you can help me with my problem.

I recently built my first PC and I'm loving it so far. However, I'm having an issue with the WiFi 6 / Bluetooth 5.1 card that I bought. For reference, this is the model. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XM6XZ1F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I installed the Intel AX200 drivers for both WiFi and BT from Intel's website.

Whenever I put the computer into sleep mode, the bluetooth driver fails. I either have to restart the computer, or use a hard wired keyboard to wake the machine. The Bluetooth will only resume after a full restart; the bluetooth does not resume after waking and unlocking with a wired keyboard. WiFi still works, however. When I go into device manager, under the Bluetooth menu, it shows the Intel(R) Bluetooth Adapter(R) with the yellow warning triangle. Opening it, it gives me "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

If I run the driver install program in this state, it allows me to "Repair" the bluetooth driver, and that fixes the problem. I have tried Uninstalling the Device from the device manager and Scanning for Hardware Changes, and that doesn't fix the problem.

Both my keyboard and mouse are bluetooth only, so as of now the only way to "turn off" my PC is to actually shut it down, as opposed to sleep mode.

One other thing that may be important is that after sleep mode, the log in screen (before the actual password box appears), doesn't show the clock or any icons. Just the picture background I have selected.

Does anyone have any advice? This is really disappointing so far. Thanks in advance, kind Redditors.

PS, if it's important, I have a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite mobo.

My webcam shows nothing but a black screen

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 11:12 AM PDT

I recently got an Everest SC-825 webcam. at first, the video was zoomed in but it worked. Then a day later it just stopped working. It connected to my pc but only showed a black screen. I tried looking for a driver but couldn't find any. I'm wondering is this a hardware or software issue and how I can fix it.

I have a pdf with text that cannot be searched with control F. How do I fix this?

I have a 150 page document that was originally two separate documents that were merged together. (I don't have access to the original 2 documents). The first ~70 pages have text that is searchable with control F, but after that (I'm assuming where the 2nd file was merged in), the text is no longer searchable on control F and I can't highlight it with my cursor. I've tried across multiple pdf-view apps, on my PC, mac, and iPad, so I'm fairly certain it is a problem with the document itself. How do I fix this?

Portable wifi hotspot? So confused. Need help.

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 04:14 PM PDT

Staying with in-laws for my father in law's funeral. Their internet sucks. It's awful. I'm a teacher and trying to teach remotely. I can't do my live classes because it freezes and lags. Can I use my iPhone 11 as my wifi for my laptop? Or is there a device that can do that? I don't even know if something like that exists. Help please.
