    Premium laptop recommendations?

    I plan on buying a premium laptop for personal use. It will mainly be used for computer programming but also recreation things like streaming netflix.

    I have my eyes on the Dell XPS-15 with the UHD screen, 16GB ram & 512GB SSD. I would love someone to play devil advocate and maybe provide a recommendation for an alternative similar spec laptop.

    My laptop seems to run better plugged in rather than on battery why

    So i play a r6 and when im in game i get around 100 fps with no lag spikes when plugged in but then on my battery i get around 70-80 with tons of lag spikes anyone know why or how to fix the problem?

    Acer Helios 300 screen is blank. Help me please. ��

    Hey guys. Hope all are doing well. Actual problem is when I turn my Acer predator Helios 300. It is taking power , backlight keyboard lights are also working , mouse connected to is working properly but the screen is blank. I am waiting like 40 min after trying 2-3 times. In every try it is blank. ( Screen is working/turning on but blank). PLEASE. Guys help me out. What to do next.

    Are refurbished/decertified laptops just as functional as a new one? I’m looking at an Acer 3 Ryzen 7, 512 SSD, 8GB at $579.99 or stick with only new?

    Those Are the best specs I can find at that price but again it is recertified and I don't know anything about recertified computers.

    Any recommendations on a laptop for video editing on premiere pro

    Can anyone give me any recommendations for a laptop that can handle the editing software premiere pro, my budget is £800-£900. I've already been looking at the Asus TUF Fx505DT and the HP Pavilion 16-a0520na, but the Asus is out of stock everywhere so I need help trying to find another one

    Recently got an HP Omen 15. Have been using it 3-4 a day for gaming and during those periods I put the fans on max speed throughout. Can this have any effect on fan life and if not then how long can I keep the fans at max before the fan life is affected?

    Hey so I got a new laptop and Installed Windows which came with the laptop. Now can I return the laptop? Can you make it as it was out of the box - uninstalled windows without username etc.?

    If I use the laptop a bit for internet can I reset the windows and return the laptop?

    Nitro 5 Question

    Hi I got a brand new nitro 5 with an i5 9300h and a rtx 2060, whenever i play a game it sounds like a jet or something. Is there any way I can make it quieter? I've undervolted and repasted idk what to do and its not a faulty one

    Purchasing my first laptop HELP!

    Hey /Laptops just looking for some advice. I'm planning on working from home from now on and need a laptop to do so. Ive been advised a Macbook but Apple products are out of my budget. I need something I am going to be able to use daily without losing performance power after just a few month,.

    What do i even look for, what are the do's and dont's when it comes to buying a laptop. Screen size isnt an issue so what else plays a factor on price, since my budget is around $400 (£300).

    Lenovo ideapad laptop strange squeaking sound

    Hi guys, I bought Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 laptop.

    And when it works, there is a strange squeaking sound. It is not very loud, but if the room is quiet, you can hear it.

    I have SSD and HDD, windows installed on SSD, and this sound doesn't sound like usual HDD working sound.

    Defect or not?

    So, I recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad L340 and while using it, I found a defect in the keyboard. The enter key (the one near the number pad) was acting strange. If I clicked on it, it would make a weird clicking noise that wasn't like the noise the keyboard made.

    Is this a defect with the keyboard? The key still registers when you click it.

    IdeaPad 5 14' vs ThinkPad E14 GEN 2

    Hello, I will try to make it as short as possible.

    So I am deciding which laptop to buy between these two. To be more specific:

    1. Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14' - (AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, 8gb DDR4 3200MHz, 256gb NVMe, 300nits IPS, 56.5 Wh, 1.38kg) for 595 €
    2. Lenovo ThinkPad E14 GEN 2 - (AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, 8gb DDR4 3200MHz (I believe I could add more on this model), 256gb NVMe, 250nits IPS, 45 Wh, 1.6kg) for 559 €

    I would use it for studies and work mostly right now. IdeaPad seems to have a better screen, better battery, it's lighter overall and the bezels are somewhat more modern. On the other hand ThinkPad seems like it has a better overall quality, ram upgradeability (I don't know if I will ever need these extra 8gb for work and so on, but it's nice to have) and just seems like a great deal overall.

    I would love to hear your takes on this, don't really have other candidates, these seem to be the best deals overall in my region. Would love it to last for approx. 5 years or so.

    I need a good laptop

    I have not purchased laptops before, but i have some idea on the specs i need. I just want to clarify if they are correct. I need a laptop that has long battery life, smooth perfomance and enables me to game (not hardcore, more on the casual side). For 600-700 dollars. . 1) is core i5 good for the requirments? 2) is 8 gb ram enough? . What do the different generations of the the chip (eg: i5 10th gen) mean and how do they affect the perfomance? . . Is asus a good laptop brand?

    Acer nitro 5 fans

    Hello, I just bought a nitro 5 with a i5 9300h and a 2060 and the thermals are like 40-45°C idle and like 60-70°C under load and the fans sound like jet engines at like 4300 rpm. Is there a way to fix this?

    Pc anoying sound

    Hi guys, i dont know why but my pc do the same sound as if there were an hard drive writing something (the little scratchy sound) when im moving my mouse. All tho, only when it's pluged. Any idea why ? Ps. It's not coming from the speaker
