[REQUEST] Looking for an endless runner with upgrade system

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 06:12 PM PDT

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a something in terms of jetpack joyride, burrito bison, toss the turtle...

A game in which you're striving for a high score, getting as far as possible, either running away for something, chasing something...

Using upgrades for earned points you get to go further and faster.

I'm looking specifically for games that avoid the trend of using ads and microtransactions to push the player towards buying in-game currency etc. I'm not against paying for a solid game but I much more prefer one-time premium upgrade rather than currency packages and/or VIP benefits for recurring payments.

PS: There's one game I vaguely remember playing. It was a pixel graphics side scroller game, similarly to jetpack joyride you had 3 quests at the same time. It was situated in a sort of a dungeon with ground randomly changing height so you had to jump or hit a wall. Enemies like skeletons or wizards would periodically slash in front of them or shoot projectiles which you had to avoid. I know it's a really bad description but my memories of I t are quite faint. It was quite some time ago (perhaps as much as 6 years ago).

Thank you for all suggestions and any info about the mentioned game.

    [REQUEST] Games like Beholder

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 05:16 PM PDT

    Hi guys!

I'm looking for games similar to Beholder or any type of dystopian game. I really like the dystopian type style of games. It doesn't have to be surveillance game, but should have the feel of dystopia.

I would like a game that has a storyline or goals. Paid doesn't really matter but as I don't really have money, I'd have to wait a bit before I can get it.

    Thanks!

Soft Launch | Destiny Child Defense War

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 08:25 PM PDT

Wow, game is polished. RNG, real time PvP and strategy. There is also a necessary co-op mode if you want to progress quickly. This game plays like Random Dice but you have a "lead character" as well.

Of course it has the Destiny Child skin which should help it gain popularity. If you want to get a video review of this game, I have provided it here.

The game soft launched today but you can play in any country. Details on how to do that is in the video.

[REQUEST] Game where you slide characters of different RPG-type classes along a grid and different enemies have different attack patterns to learn

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 07:23 PM PDT

It was fairly popular/well respected and I think i first heard of it on this subreddit.

It had a top-down view of a grid (I think it was 3x3), cartoon graphics.

I think it might have been rogue-lite and I think there were upgrades available between battles. Each stage had an end boss.

Gameplay involved sliding your party of characters along the grid to avoid enemy attacks There were different starting combinations of classes to complete a run with.

That's all I can remember. Thanks in advance!

[Request] Any games I can play while I slack off at work?

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 02:49 PM PDT

    Just as the title says, would like some games I can play to pass time while I'm not active at work. May only requirements are;

    • it can work offline/no data or wifi
    • not too big of a download
    • I don't mind cheap games to buy but I prefer something free
    • game types doesn't matter (idle, sim, etc) but I don't carry much for match 3 type games

    Thanks in advance for feedback!

Recommendations Wanted: Match-3 combat with RPG elements, but without any empire/base building

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 08:58 AM PDT

As title. I'm really not into waiting 3 days for a barracks to upgrade, I just want a gem combat game where I can grind to upgrade character stats and skills.

Any fun physics-arcade games like walk master?

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 09:02 AM PDT

I reaaaalllyy love arcade/casual games with fun physics to them, having to move on stilts with physics being the challenge in Walk Master is my current joy, but there are many others like Drag'n'boom, Alto's oddyssey, even the old hill climb race or the ond where you tossed marbles at glass to shatter it to pass through (I forgot the name..)

Do you guys know any mors that might scratch that itch? Thank you!

Auto Auto Auto | Magatsu Wahreit | global release

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 05:41 AM PDT

So a new game was released global yesterday. Magatsu Wahreit!!!! I was hype. Everyone was talking about it. Downloaded it and started playing. Here's what ensued. Auto pathing, Auto Questing, Auto Equiping and Auto Battling. Of course all this Auto is optional, but why would you play if you can auto. But the real question is if you can auto everything, why would you play?

Here are my thoughts and gameplay of this newly hyped game.

Genshin Impact reaches $245 million as it’s first-month revenue, making it one of the fastest grossing mobile game launches

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 11:45 PM PDT

Genshin Impact by miHoyo launched to great praise by media outlets and fans alike in late September and as reported by Sensor Tower the sales estimates have been shown to be as much as $245 million in the game's first-month revenue.

You'd have assumed spending numbers of players to have gone down due to the global pandemic. But that didn't stop users from spending their hard-earned money trying to obtain their favorite characters from the new title. It's reported that in the game's first week they had $60million* in earnings and were labeled No.2 top Grossing mobile game. If you take its first week's numbers into account it hasn't slowed down at all, averaging $60million for the past 4 weeks.

The largest player market for mobile games has always been China and it's no different for Genshin Impact where Chinese players have spent more than $82million (33% of the total earnings). The second region in terms of player spending in Japan with around $59million (24% of total earnings), and finally the U.S comes in with close to $45million (18% of total earnings). You can read more about the news here.

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 08:57 AM PDT

I need a snooker game to play with a friend, but it can't be real time. We usually can't play at the same time. Or any other similar game that doesn't require us to play at the same time. Currently we are playing Tsuro. Thanks

    Please suggest me some games

    Posted: 29 Oct 2020 08:53 AM PDT

I need a game which I could play offline, should have some interesting story or good adventure tasks( like LDOE ), no pixel like game, not anime related, I like motorsport manager, f1, ldoe, jwe, and such games I don't want it to be too addicting but not to simple either

    Anything?
