Dell Inspiron 7567 4k screen problem Posted: 29 Sep 2019 07:10 AM PDT Any ideas on what may be causing the flickering? It has being happening for a few weeks, sometimes turning off the computer fixes it, but it comes back again after a while, and it is getting worse. Might be Hardware related, as connecting the laptop to an external monitor solves the issue. Thank You [link] [comments]
Is there a way to use both, Headphones and Speakers at the same time? Posted: 29 Sep 2019 10:24 AM PDT Hi! I just bought a pair of headphones (without a Microphone), and plugged it into the front audio jack of my PC case. When it is plugged in, the headphones work, but the speakers don't. The speakers is plugged in at the back IO board of the PC. I followed [This guide](https://www.intowindows.com/use-speakers-headphones-at-the-same-time-in-windows-10/) . It didn't work, because the Headphones isn't a separate device, but is also "Speakers" Is there a other way? Thanks! Edit: Hyperlink - Doesn't work for some reason [link] [comments]
No audio on MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Posted: 29 Sep 2019 08:53 AM PDT Hi, I bought this mb these days, but I didn't find a way to make the audio work. I tried to insert my headphones's jack both in the rear and front panel. I installed all the drivers from MSI's website, I tried to install the driver from realtek s website too. It does not show on the volume panel or in device manager. Nothing works.. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Sep 2019 09:50 PM PDT Sooo i have a really bad pc, and I got a new mouse, the SteelSeries Rival 600. When I plugged it in, I got a USB surge and I think it may have broken my mouse. Is this possible? Idk if it broke my mouse because i'm scared to plug it back in. Thanks [link] [comments]
Wifi adapter not working/not showing in device manager despite driver reinstall Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:18 PM PDT Okay so I'm at my wits end here. I have a dell inspiron 7577 (running windows 10) that recently has been having wifi issues (dropped wifi when not at home). To fix this I try to work with the drivers to see if I can fix it. In the process of doing so I uninstall my network adapter from the device manager. This was a mistake I realize. I figured that I could just reinstall the drivers and everything would be fine and dandy. However, my laptop tells me no. I attempt to reinstall the drivers from the Dell support page but the driver installers tell me that I can't install these drivers on my device. After doing a little digging I find that the inspiron 7577 has an Intel Wireless-AC 8265 Dual Band wifi adapter or a Qualcomm QCA6174A XR Dual Band adapter, both of which the support page provides me drivers for. Why is it then, that when I attempt to install either drivers, does it either not install or just not work for me? I've attempted most solutions people say online, like resetting my network drivers, reinstalling windows, restarting windows, show hidden devices in device manager (it's how I somehow uninstalled them in the first place), etc. etc. I doubt it's the wifi card not working in general. What can I possibly do now to fix my problem? [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Sep 2019 03:46 PM PDT Okay, story time: My brother and I are both in college. He is trying to access his college cloud site to do some web design and got an error that his ip was temporarily blocked because it seemed unsafe. He contacted his professor, who said that our ip might have been used for a DDOS attack. Which is scary and I have hardly any clue what that means. We checked both our computers for viruses and it came up clean. There are other devices we haven't checked because they belong to our roommates who are out of town. We checked McAfee and it said that "We have protected you from over___ risky connections so far." His is in the 10000's, mine is over 3 million. A majority of these connections have the same address as our router. If they are blocked, I guess means that the scanner is doing its job? Why would our router be sending us risky connections, yet we are still connected to WiFi? Is there any danger of personal information being stolen? We reset the router and he is still getting risky connections blocked from our router address, though my laptop isn't reporting any. What do I need to do to either stop the attack or lessen it, and how much time do I have? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, and thank you in advance for working with a virus-attack-incompetent person. [link] [comments] |
