- Oldest Samsung device to get One UI. Still holds strong. What a beast and I’m lovin’ it. Sad that the screen got damaged due to water and respond only to the S-Pen instead of touch.

| Got the Note 10+ - My thoughts Posted: 21 Aug 2019 08:25 AM PDT Hello samsung sheeps :) i got the note 10+ today and here a my first impressions. Coming from an s10 plus which annoyed me. Why? Reason1: Its a huge device and the power button is way too high. So in daily business it just doesn't work out. I had to configure samsungs one hand operation + gesture to turn of the device. It's just stupid. Reason 2: The fingerprintsensor isn't always visible so you will miss it for sure. Of course you will learn it but it will never be perfect and seemless. Which brings me to the note 10+. Both reasons are fixed there. The power button is more in the middle which is like day and night in daily use. The always on display now shows a symbol for the fingerprintsensor EVERYTIME. This is so much better! Now i can live with it and actually like it :) (hopefully this comes to the s10 series too) Minor stuff: - Skin smoothing on portrait mode can now be completely deactivated which results in a sharper picture :) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 21 Aug 2019 06:58 AM PDT I understand the idea of the new one is to more or less bring the UI of the phone onto the PC and use its peripherals. Now what i want to know is if i browse or do anything online on the the Dex will it use my phones internet or my laptops. I work in a rural area and wifi is spotty at best and usually cell signal is better. Also i know about hotspot but I have a 20 gig limit. For me that would be a game changer on how I use my phone and computer, and would insta buy the new note 10+ without thinking anything else about the phone. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 20 Aug 2019 08:03 PM PDT I made the leap and got a new pair of Galaxy buds after my original Iconx buds started to experience some static with connectivity. I'm amazed at how great these sound and they're so light on the ears I hardly feel them in. My only gripe about the touch pad is that there's no volume control. I loved that feature about the Iconx. I preordered my Note 10+ today and am getting it on the 23rd (hopefully Amazon comes through), I have seen a few people on this sub with it already and I am wondering if it is like my friends S9 (my friend got it 6 days before because shipping) where some people are getting it early, or if the release date is different in other countries. Verizon sells new version of both the S9 and the S10, with the former being $600 and the latter being $900. Does anyone have any suggestions of art apps? I really need one with layer clipping like on paint tool SAI, it's the only way I know how to do digital art. I've tried Autodesk Sketchbook mainly and I like it except from the fact that it has no layer clipping. Please help :( [link] [comments]  |
