Help! My business email is being flagged as spam, is there any way I can apply to have it unflagged? Posted: 03 May 2019 04:04 AM PDT I have my own domain to host my copywriting work - it's my full name, let's say the email address is info@myfullname.net. I've used this email address for the past couple of years as a professional tool and it's always worked well for me. I've never spammed, I only ever use it to speak to my clients or to pitch ideas to editors. However, last week a client emailed me and I replied within Gmail (I have this email address connected to it) but it didn't send - instead I received an email in spam saying: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: REDACTED@REDACTED.co.uk host REDACTED-co-uk.mail.protection.outlook.com 14.7.2.6 SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:REDACTED@REDACTED.co.uk: 550 5.7.606 Access denied, banned sending IP 23.27.0.58. To request removal from this list please visit https://sender.office.com/ and follow the directions. For more information please go to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=526655 (AS16012609) I followed the link and did what I was told but was told in the end that the IP wasn't blocked, so I assume it's my actual email address. (I use a VPN set to another city in my country, though I turned it off and tried to email again and the same happened.) Then I tried emailing my private hotmail account and this time the email went through but straight to spam. And I've just had another client mail me now saying they haven't heard back from me, despite my emailing them 2 days ago. This is really damaging my business and making me look unprofessional. Is there anyway of applying to have my email registered as NOT spam? Or if I change the email address I use to something else like me@myfullname.net ? I can't think of any reason why this may be the case, other than a few months ago I set up my own webpage (using that same domain name) where I have a bit of text saying "you can email me here" with 'here' hyperlinking to my email address - is this why this has happened? Does anyone have any advice? [link] [comments]

Laptop dies immediately after powering on Posted: 03 May 2019 08:02 AM PDT See title. Asus VX7SX laptop. Monitor and fans come on, then die almost immediately after I see the first flicker of the boot screen. It's plugged in and the light on the power supply brick is lit, which indicates to me that either the physical connector for the power supply on the board or the PSU has gotten fried and will need to be replaced - right? Anyone have any thoughts? [link] [comments]
Windows dying, Linux partition works fine Posted: 02 May 2019 10:38 PM PDT Hi everybody, Having some issues with my Windows install. When I boot to my Windows 10 partition, it starts booting, but it inevitably "dies" soon after. When this happens, the screens go black, and the lights on my keyboard/mouse turn off, but the other hardware (system fans, tower lights) keeps running. I am unable to ping or remote into the system after it "dies", have to hard shutdown. This sometimes happens during boot (before login screen, at spinning wheel), sometimes at the login screen, sometimes after login. It typically happens between 5 seconds after starting the boot, and up to 5 minutes after login. I have noticed this issue happens on Windows-based USBs as well (Win 10 installer, HBCD). My Linux (Manjaro) partition (and other Linux boots) has no issues whatsoever. It has never died in this manner. System specs: Mobo: ASRock X470 Master SLI/AC CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X RAM: Corsair Dominator LPX 3200 Please help! Any help is appreciated! [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 May 2019 04:48 PM PDT I noticed even when I set the folders by category "photos" or "audio" it won't have the specific sorting column that I'm looking for so every time I go into that folder I have to right click under columns and add them in manually. As you can imagine this can get rather tedious really fast especially if you're working on the PC all day and you have hundreds if not thousands of files to sort. How do I make these settings permanent for that ENTIRE COMPUTER (meaning every folder) i open regardless of whether the files contain that property or not? I remember being able to do this per individual folder as a permenant config on windows 7. Not sure if this is a feature in 10. [link] [comments]
HP Probook 650 G1 won't power on Posted: 02 May 2019 04:34 PM PDT Working on an HP Probook 650 G1, I just got a new battery for it and it seemed to be working fine before. Now it won't power on with the battery inside or plugged in without the battery inside. Without the battery, the power button blinks along with the two LEDs on the bottom side. With the battery inside an orange light blinks and nothing happens there as well. I'm not sure if the battery is bad or if the adapter is bad so anything to narrow it down would be a godsend. edit ( 5/2 ) when the battery is plugged in and the charger the little light on the side of the laptop shaped like lightning flashes white when you hit the power. if the battery is unplugged but it's on the charger then the power button flashes white and the power indicator on the side flashes white while the lightning flashes yellow.
