| Posted: 03 Aug 2018 01:39 AM PDT My Nexus 6P died yesterday (RIP). It served me well for over 2 years. Yeah I had a few issues, had to swap out the battery etc. But overall I loved the phone. OnePlus 6 has swooped in made me forget about the Nexus 6P like a puppy replacing a deceased goldfish! This thing is a beast, lightning fast, stunning design and incredible UI. Love it. Do you guys have any idea? Already tried to reboot and turn off and turn it on on the quick bar and settings. I'm two weeks now without being able to turn on Bluetooth and it doesn't work... I am not quite following the different protection plan and warranty options. Does damage protection include the extended warranty? How long is the warranty without the extended warranty? Does the screen on the OP6 break easily when dropped? Is there any reason to get the damage protection if I have not had issues in the past? Thanks for the help! Looking forward to joining the squad! Because my one plus 6 is just about a month and a half and I've usually never had a problem getting to 5hours SOT and now I barely get to 4. I'm having to charge by around 6PM. | Internet constant disconnect [OnePlus 3] Posted: 03 Aug 2018 07:36 PM PDT I'm abroad (in Greece, no WiFi) and I can only use my 4G for a maximum of 20 seconds. After that I get disconnected and it says I've got no service. There's only one way to fix it temporary and it's by turning on and off the airplane mode. By doing that I get another 20 seconds to use my internet. This is an extremely annoying bug and I'm probably done with OnePlus after this if there's no fix. Can anyone please help me? I can't send SMS, I can't make calls and I can't use my internet. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 03 Aug 2018 07:11 PM PDT I've been enjoying the transition so far, but one thing really bothers me; on my iPhone 7 Plus, the landscape keyboard had hefty margins at its sides so that the keys were all easily accessible by your thumbs, as you can see here: https://i.stack.imgur.com/Sxse1.jpg On the OP6, every keyboard I've tried either stretches the keys across the whole display ridiculously, or in 'thumb' mode, just splits the keyboard down the middle, leaving your thumbs straining to reach the edges. I've seen Samsung phones add margins to the sides of the keyboards; is there a way to get that functionality back, or are there alternatives people can recommend? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 03 Aug 2018 09:09 AM PDT So I purchased a cheap 40$ pair of Bluetooth headphones on Amazon, and they work really well, except for this one weird bug I've been experiencing. Basically what happens is that everytime there's silence, say at the end of a song, or if someone payses while talking, there's a sort of click noise and the headphones like turn off, and then when the silence stops there's a click and the sound comes back in the headphones. It's really annoying. For example this one song I have plays a beep noise, then nothing for a sec, then a beep noise, then nothing for a sec. What you hear is the beep, then a click and complete silence, then a click and the beep noise, etc. And then sometimes the sound doesn't come back and I have to hit volume up to make it play again. How can I stop this? EDIT FOR CLARITY: Basically everytime there's silence the headphones shut off with a click, and when sound comes back there's a click to turn it back on. Eg in pubg if I'm walking you hear the walking noise, then I stop and there's a click, and I start walking again and theres another click right before the sound. [link] [comments]  |

The phone doesn't freeze though, everything else is still responsive. To get it unstuck I have to scroll in the other direction and then back again. [link] [comments]  |

| Input lag/Unresponsiveness when charging my Oneplus 3T Posted: 03 Aug 2018 12:36 AM PDT Hey everyone, Run into my first real issue after owning my Oneplus 3T for 1.5 years. I've been playing a lot of Pokemon Go recently, so I've been charging my phone more than in the past. This has all been going fine until a couple days ago, when I realized that while charging my phone starts lagging, bad. Scrolling is jerky, swiping is basically impossible, typing adds letters I don't even touch. All the symptoms disappear when I stop charging, however this hasn't been a problem once in the past 1.5 years. I am using the official Oneplus Dash charger. I do use battery packs sometimes or Anker cables to charge from my laptop. I almost never charge overnight, letting it run up to the mid 90s before bed and then leaving it unplugged overnight. Anyone else experienced this issue? Figured out how to overcome it? Would appreciate any input. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 02 Aug 2018 09:51 PM PDT For some reason, when I play something on the lowest volume, the speaker cuts out on quiet sections, and it's super annoying because some whispers in whatever I'm watching are basically muted, music that I play at night next to my ear is distracting because it keeps cutting out and back in like a flicker. | P-Beta messes with notifications in the worst way Posted: 03 Aug 2018 05:31 AM PDT please tell me I just missed an option somewhere. the default SMS app has it's own section in the notification tones, this ONLY applies to the Stock messaging app, not the default one. every other app must use the "default notification sound" so now I get dinged for EVERYTHING unless I go in to each notification channel and tell it to show silently. when I go into a few apps like google messages and Allo for instance, there is an option to change the notification sound for the app, but it's set to "default notification sound" and it's Grayed out. am I missing something? also, I know it's beta and whatnot, but I got a notification ding at 4am from the clock app telling me about my upcoming alarms....was not happy...lol [link] [comments]  |

When you adjust volume on the other side of the phone, down turns it quieter. Yet the alert slider, down means louder and up means quieter. What the hell? Is there anyway to fix this without rooting? Today, it won't register the headphones, and also has crashed and rebooted couple times. Phone has performed very well so far, but now there are multiple issues. | Going back to android O, after using the android P dp3 Posted: 03 Aug 2018 05:53 AM PDT I am going back to android oreo, just because I feel my phone has frame rate issues when using certain features, the lock screen gets hanged and I have to click the lock button and unlock my phone again.(at times) Android P is great but I want the 100% stability on my phone, therefore I'm gonna go back until the official ota update comes out.
