[Request] How to remove native apps from Xiomi Redmi Note 4? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 03:22 AM PDT I am tired of their native apps. The best I could do was to clear the app data and force stop it. But I could not figure out a way to completely remove those apps. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 05:34 AM PDT Hello. I've seen that another guy put 11 apps into his dock on nova on oneplus 6. Any idea how? I can only put 7 on the same phone... Thanks for help [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 07:26 AM PDT Does anyone know of a good Android app for scheduled call forwarding? I would love to be able to go into the settings of an app and provide a number to forward calls to and what times for each day that I want calls forwarded to that number. I work in a building that does not get good reception due to its construction. Forwarding to my work landline number would be very beneficial. The scheduling feature is paramount because every now and again I forget to put my phone on call forward or take it off call forward. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Any good registration-free GIF Animator recommendation?? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:04 AM PDT I downloaded two. Both asked for to much permissions, account creation, and I immediately deleted them. I want to make a simple GIF out of a set of images of my younger daughter. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 10:52 AM PDT After downloading and installing yMusic for Android, it seems a lot of my mp3 files have been renamed and there are strange new files 0 bytes and up to 10gb in size. I also cannot delete the files, permission denied. Does anyone know what's going on here? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 10:34 AM PDT So, um, I've been wondering if there is an app that lets you manually change the color of the navigation bar in each app. I'm trying to make everything look more minimalistic, but apps like Navbar Apps change the color to the most used one on the app icon, not the inside of the app (example - Youtube). As I said, it's fine if it's not automatic as I am willing to take my time to adjust the color of every app. Thank you! [link] [comments] |

New App "Hide Nav Bar" — Rootless Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:10 AM PDT Finally get rid of the "Navigation Bar" You want to use one of those cool new gesture navigation apps to use your device in a futuristic way?Or you want to gain a little more screen space? But you cannot get rid of the "Navigation Bar" because you're device is not rooted? With "Hide Navigation Bar" it's possible to hide your "Navigation Bar" without root There's also an option to hide the "Navigation Bar" with root or xposed. Posted: 29 Jun 2018 06:34 AM PDT I have a subscription and have really been wondering if there are any quality differences between these apps or if I'm experiencing a placebo effect. Can anyone chime in with their experiences or offer more information as to how these apps differ when it comes to streaming music, aside from the UI? [link] [comments] |

Question about transferring texts with SMS backup/restore Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:45 AM PDT I'm getting a new phone today and would like to transfer over the old texts... However, my old phone is dead, like needs a new battery dead, so I have to wait for one to ship (just so I can recover stuff). I last backed up my texts a couple months ago so I need a new backup. In the mean time, I'll be texting on my new phone... So my question is, will "restoring"/transferring my old texts override my new ones on my new phone? Or will it just add them as old texts? I really don't want to have to wait until I can get a new backup from my old phone, so I'm just wondering. [link] [comments] |

[Request] App that will remember a WiFi network but not connect automatically, only manually. Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:03 AM PDT Since I have an unlimited data plan there are a lot of Wi-Fi networks that only connect to occasionally. I'm tired of either turning off my wifi entirely or manually forgetting the network and re-entering the passcode every time. Is there an app that will store credentials for a WiFi network but not connect to it unless I specifically tell it to? [link] [comments] |
Looking for a simple photo editor Posted: 29 Jun 2018 07:16 AM PDT All editors out there are too complicated and loaded with useless features. I don't need filters for instegram. I need those features: Marking words Adding text Easy cropping Blurring words [link] [comments] |

Very simple app list launcher? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 09:31 AM PDT I just installed XDA Gestures, and wanted to map "swipe up" to essentially pulling up a list of apps (bypassing the home screen entirely). The only way I can think of getting this to work is an incredibly simple launcher that is just a list of apps. Any recommendations at all? Most launchers I have tried have a home screen + app drawer layout. [link] [comments] |
Replacement for Google Keep/OneNote Posted: 28 Jun 2018 02:52 PM PDT I'm looking for an replacement for OneNote/Google Keep. The reason for this, is that OneNote consumes too much space, on a fresh install, the app consumes 200mb (!!) and Keep cards UI is not very intuitive. I like Keep low storage space consumption, but I like OneNote UI. Is there a note app which combines both? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
[MIUI] Netflix stops working after short period of time Posted: 29 Jun 2018 08:50 AM PDT Is there a way to make Netflix work "normally" on MIUI? I mainly use it to cast to Chromecast. After short period of time, the notification bar disappears, and I can't pause, resume, skip credits etc... Without closing and opening Netflix app again . It must be something MIUI related, on my old Samsung Netflix casting worked fine. Many thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
[Request] Twitter client with good widget Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:40 AM PDT Looks like Flamingo used to be the best in this area but it is now deprecated. I currently use Maki but it lacks a widget (hope to see one some day) so looking for an alternative that has a nice widget. Checked out Owly but you can't configure the widget at all. How to connect Tasker with a particular application? Posted: 28 Jun 2018 11:19 PM PDT Have you guys connected Tasker or one of the automation apps to any timer applications? I'm using Pomotodo as my work timer on Pixel. I'd like to set it up so that my phone turns on Do Not Disturb when the app starts it's timer. Any pointers? Is Tasker the right solution? Nova launcher night mode is always on Posted: 29 Jun 2018 07:48 AM PDT I can't seem to set night mode on Nova Launcher to enable automatically. If I set it to "Auto" or "Custom", it just turns on regardless of what time I set it to. I can turn off night mode, of course, but I just want it to be enabled at night. It worked fine for me on Nougat but now I'm on Oreo and I can't figure out why it doesn't work. Any help? [link] [comments] |
I do not have youtube premium, but my Youtube app has background play enabled. What's happening? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 08:28 AM PDT About 2 weeks ago the official youtube app on my Galaxy S8 (Verizon) mysteriously gained the ability to minimize videos to the bottom right corner of the screen when i exit the app, and keep playing as an overlay while i work in other apps. I assumed it happened to everyone, but short of one guy in another thread mentioning he had it, I've seen no mention of it on the internet anywhere. What's going on? Anyone else seen this? I for sure do not have premium, youtbe is still constantly prompting me to buy it and if i go into my settings it still says "Get YouTube Premium" [link] [comments] |
