    Hi reddit, Im currently using a Xiaomi 5s Plus 4gb/64gb. Phone works well so far with an average camera that isnt much to shout about. I do a lot of gaming and browsing so Im looking to upgrade to a faster device. Currently the only problem im having with the 5s plus is whatsapp crashing frequently and some mild overheating during gameplay. Any phones in the market currently or upcoming that I should consider? I was looking at the Black Shark as a gaming phone but is it worth the pricetag?

    Please Help!!! Xioami Mi Mix 2 Cannot disable Picture-In-Picture

    I have searched, I have dug; I cannot for the life of me find ANY settings related to the Picture-In-Picture function. The main app I'm looking to disable this option for is Google Maps. Please any help is much appreciated.

    I found a deal for Mi Mix 2 for $393 USD including shipping but I was reading there were issues with taking selfies using Snapchat, Instagram, etc. I don't normally take selfies all that much so can use Mix 2 camera, but one feature I would like to still be able to use is the selfie filter effects on Snapchat, etc. Will I be completely unable to use these features with the Mix 2 or is there some work around?

    So I found these two on Ali, and theyre the same except the camera. One has 13mp fron camera, and the other one has 20mp. As far as I know, the 20mp one is the indian version? Correct me if I'm wrong

    I live in the UK, would the 20mp work with EE here?

    Updating MIUI?

    I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X which came installed with the global rom. It currently has MIUI 8 but I was wondering if it was okay to update it to MIUI 9? Will this cause any problems?

    Why is Mix sick While gaming

    Hey there. I got Mix sünce 1 year and I'm not happy with gaming performance. İt's 6/256 and TBH my Note5 was hell much better... I'm playing pubg ATM for example and performance? Don't even mention it.. were playing dragon revolt before and it was horrible too... Anyways, I'm gonna sell phone again planning to get black shark soon. But I wonder if it's a problem about Mi's or my Mix...

    So... I'm about to get a new phone as a few issues with my 3T are driving my crazy

    At first i was set on the Mix 2S, it ticks all the boxes of what i want in a phone, SD845, 128gb, good battery life, LTE, kernel source released, great camera, gorgeous design.

    But then Xiaomi announces the Black Shark which more or less mimics the Mix 2S but has (in theory) better battery life and higher MP front and back camera (Sensor unknown).

    So now I'm undecided about which one to get, since we don't know the sensor of the Black Shark, 20MP is kinda irrelevant and would Xiaomi release the kernel as fast as they did with the Mix 2s? Higher battery capacity seems nice in paper, but we don't know if that version of Android is as good as battery life as MIUI.

    Both supposedly have the B4 LTE which is the band i need for 4G, so that's irrelevant.

    Do you think the Black Sharj would have good support from roms? I'm kinda sure the Mix 2S will have it's following which would help keep the phone updated after xiaomi stops.

    PD: i know the Black Shark hasn't release so it's hard to compare but I would order the Mix 2S right now if i decide :(
