[Request] Games similar to XCOM:EW Posted: 26 Apr 2018 02:39 PM PDT Hello androidgaming! I'm looking for suggestions for games similar to XCOM: Enemy Within. I've really enjoyed the XCOM style, but I'd like to find something just a tiny bit less brutal, both on me, and on my battery. I ran a search of older posts, but they seemed to be a bit older, I hope there is some fresher info here. Things I'm looking for:
Aliens are good, but not a must-have. Thanks for your time! [link] [comments]

First JRPG/mobile game suggestion Posted: 26 Apr 2018 03:11 PM PDT First JRPG/mobile game search, need help! I am relatively new to turn based combat based rpgs ever since I started Divinity: Original Sin II, and quickly learned I am a fan of the genre. However I have never played any JRPGs or android games and wanted one for my Android phone. After researching I am torn between one of the early Final Fantasy games (3-6) or Dragon Quest games (3-7), which seened to be the most recommended of the two series for mobile play. I am open to either series, and was looking for suggestions for a first JRPG for someone with no experience with the genre. I like tactical combat and party building. Story isn't as important as combat but I'd like it to not be completely boring or childish. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 06:30 AM PDT Well I was browsing through Google Play and came across this game that is going for free today. I wouldn't normally create a post about it but the reason it caught my attention is that it is about the Nepal earthquake (which I experienced while living there) and also that profits will go to help build learning centers for the children in Nepal. Although it's currently going for free perhaps at least the game will help bring awareness about the conditions in Nepal and to this day people are still living in temporary accommodation such as tents with little to no access to basic amenities. [Request] Games with longer term progression? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 11:10 AM PDT Hello! I'm looking for games with longer - term progression elements. What I mean by this, is something like skills or improvements for characters over time. For example, I know there are roguelikes that have skill unlocks, character improvements, etc that cary over after death. I like to have a concrete improvement or Unlock after winning/succeeding/passing a goal. E. G. A game like starrows that improves character ability after every win. Roguelikes with skill tree systems/unlocks that are not reset on death. Other types of games with RPG elements such as skill trees, level ups, or character unlocks/evolutions. Preferably single player & playable offline. Any genre. Offline RPG games? (currently playing Heretic Gods, TLK, Dungeon Survivor II) if they have extensive skill/advancement /evolution trees. I like starrows & wicked lair - but I would like to see some form of skill/experience/level carryover from game to game. [link] [comments]
A game like soul knight called B.I.T. Posted: 26 Apr 2018 06:47 AM PDT I saw someone on YouTube playing it but can't seem to find it still at all on the play store. Any suggestions? Or know where to find it. [link] [comments]
[Request] Good 2 Player Coop Games Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:48 AM PDT I searched around for good Coop lists here and it seems most are a few years old at this point. My wife and I have been playing Bloons TD coop for awhile now and absolutely loving it. However my wife's app glitched recently deleting all her progress, even though she was synced through google play and Facebook sign in. So we'd like to find a new coop game to kill some time with. Features we are looking for: -2 Player coop asynchronous or simultaneous are just fine -Open to just about any genre just as long as it requires some thought to play. Sandbox games like minecraft dont interest my wife much -Either Paid or Free is just fine -Online or Bluetooth multiplayer is preferred, not really interested in pass and play We enjoy RPG elements in games (leveling and progression and all that) but we also enjoy puzzles and board games quite a bit. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated! [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] Games like dungeon quest Posted: 26 Apr 2018 01:15 AM PDT Dungeon Quest is a game where you fight monsters and clear the dungeon floors whilst getting better loot and equipment. I absolutely love this game, I found it through Nimble Thors reviews and have been playing this everyday. I am near completion with the game and am looking for similar games like this. What I want are:
I tried searching for similar games and ended up downloading heart breaker but that crashed for me every 10 minutes or so. [link] [comments]
Looking for controller reccomendations Posted: 26 Apr 2018 05:58 AM PDT I'm buying and LG V20 in a few days and I really wanna pick up a Bluetooth controller for it since I get to travel between two cities a lot and the 5-6 hour train rides are boring as hell. I'll also be emulating a lot, so I would prefer a controller that has both R1 and R2 as well as L1 and L2 so I can fully enjoy PS1 classics. I don't wanna fork out *too* much cash for it, since I won't be using it all that much. I've also seen some physical clips for Xbox One controllers and I'm wondering how those work and if they're worth getting since I have an Elite. I've noticed that the games should be "Xbox Controller compatible" and if that doesn't work on emulators that's a killer for me. If the controller is foldable/somewhat portable that's a win for me, since I travel pretty light. I'm also really picky with my controllers, flimsy, cheap feeling ones really ruin my experience, which is one of the reasons I have an Elite Controller, it's comfy and hefty (though at the cost of some long-term durability). Anyway, what controllers do you guys use and which ones would you recommend? This one caught my eye, it looks pretty cool. [link] [comments]

Parcel Rangers - A game tailored for fans of the genre. Would love feedback and suggestions! Posted: 26 Apr 2018 05:42 AM PDT Hi guys, I am part of a small 3-man company from Denmark, who just released our first game after working our behinds off for the past 1½ year. The game takes the traditional runner genre and iterates on that, fx through wall-running and level design with a higher complexity than seen in other games of the genre. The game can be downloaded for free HERE About the game: The game is build for fans and lovers of the genre. While we like the fundamental mechanics of the traditional runners, we wanted to create a more engaging and intense experience, where the player is given extra interaction space from wall-running, finding flows between waves of jump-boosters, delivering packages for your grumpy grandpa and upgrading your business at the same time. We respect and enjoy the fundamental and traditional mechanics of the endless runner, and want to expand and iterate those, to deliver a new and challenging experience for fans of the genre. We wish to keep supporting the game with new updates, that introduces new mechanics, game modes and upgrades. All feedback and critique (good and/or bad) and suggestions for future mechanics and additions is highly appreciated and welcome! [link] [comments]

Kemco RPG Asdivine Hearts loot question Posted: 26 Apr 2018 07:02 AM PDT So this is a traditional JRPG, but it's small and mobile, and I was wondering: do I need to be searching the barrels and bookcases for treasure? That's in a lot of older games, but I didn't want to waste my time if there isn't going to be anything there in this case. My Google-fu failed me, so I'm hoping y'all can help. Help me Obi-wan Reddit, you're my only hope! [link] [comments] |
