[DEV] Next - an offline music player Posted: 26 Apr 2018 04:22 AM PDT Hi everyone! I've recently published my first app called Next, and I'm looking for some feedback on it. Some of the features are: buttonless player controls, mini playing queue, floating window that looks for youtube video and lyrics (need an active internect connection), intuitive folder navigation, built-in metadata tag editor for tracks, albums and artists; recent artists, albums and searches; folder, playlist and genre image generator, offline lyrics, customizable theme and others. On the audio side has some cool features like a 5-band equalizer with bassboost and 3D virtualizer, crossfade, gapless playback and others. The app is ad-free and will always be. I would really appreciate some feedback and if you if you want any more features or have any suggestion please let me know. If you enjoy the app please also leave a review in the store to help. Here the link to the store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.olog.msc You can get a promo code here: https://plus.google.com/u/1/communities/112263979767803607353 You can contact me at dev.eugeniu.olog@gmail.com Edit: If you like the app and want to support the development buying the full version, please note that all features are unlocked for the first hour after install, for all users. App for creating an answering call tree? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 11:20 AM PDT Okay, I get 5-10 junk/robo calls every day. My office recently implemented an answering tree that is used to give basic info and direct calls to either the front desk, billing desk, or VM. The junk calls to the office have basically disappeared. Apparently robots can't press 1 to speak to our receptionist. So, I want this in my life. I want an app to answer my cell for me, say something like "You have reached the office/phone of X, press 1 to speak to X or 2 to leave a message, or if you've reached this number in error hang up". It seems to me, it would be simple for an app to do at least some of this. If not direct to VM, at least require an input before speaking to me. Unfortunately, when I search for call tree apps, they are pretty much all oriented around creating robocalls! I don't want to make an outgoing call tree, I want an incoming call tree. Is anyone aware of an app that will do this? [link] [comments] |
Is there a location-based smart lock app? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 04:38 AM PDT My previous phone came with what I think was called a smart lock app preinstalled, and its most useful feature was you could set your 'home' and it would mean you didn't need to constantly put your pin/pattern in when you were at home. The phone I have now doesn't seem to have the same thing and I'm not sure if any of the lock apps in the Play store do this specific job. Can anyone recommend one? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:23 AM PDT As the title says, is there any type and swipe keyboards like Nintype with as many features and stuff. Cause I honestly tried every other keyboard and I keep coming back to Nintype because its at least 10x faster to type on than any other keyboard. And the amount of features makes it seriously versatile. So, any alternatives? [link] [comments] |

Looking for a Reminder app with persistent notification Posted: 26 Apr 2018 06:00 AM PDT So I'm looking for an app which can list my tasks/reminders in my notification, and appears as a persistent notification, so it doesn't clear when I hit "Clear all" notifications or swipe it away by accident. Also, it must support multiple lines of text. I've tried 2 apps that get close, notin and Scrittor. However, both don't have persistent notifications and can't show more than 1 line of text. Any suggestions? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

No root: App to control what apps start on boot? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 11:25 AM PDT App control on SD Maid is indicating that lots of apps open on my phone startup, but cannot use it's feature to disable them because it requires root. Is there an app that let's you manage this and doesn't require root? Please, restrain from advising that I don't need to manage my apps as Android does this by default. I already know this but my phone is sort of laggy, and I don't lose nothing by trying. [link] [comments] |
Alarm that stops snoozing for good Posted: 26 Apr 2018 12:18 AM PDT Do you snooze your alarm clock constantly? StepAlarm puts an end to snoozing by requiring you to take a defined amount of steps before disabling the alarm. Features:

Posted: 26 Apr 2018 10:30 AM PDT Sooooo im looking for an app where I can build/design houses in. I want to build the house itself and decorate it if possible (i know not many apps have this feature, so it isn't really a must). Free android apps are preferred but if you know a good one for pc its also good. I already found some apps but they only offered plans instead of a 3D view, most of the time the quality of the app wasn't too great ass well. Productivity: Daily Planner + Time Tracker with google calender integration Posted: 26 Apr 2018 04:05 AM PDT Im looking for an app (or combination of apps) that lets me efficently plan my daily tasks, track the time i need for those and check them off when Im done. At the moment I use Buisiness calender 2 to plan my tasks for the day. Then I use Timesheet to manually input each task that I am doing at that time to track it. Is there a way/app, which inputs my daily calender entries and lets me track it? Basically, a "track" button for business calender 2 or a seperate app that imports my calender entries and lets me track it. Free/Open Source or one time purchase preferably. Most Timetracking apps that are even a little bit more advanced then Timesheets are scoped for professional/team usage. I just wanna plan my daily student life. [link] [comments] |

Chrome bottom url bar is gone now. Any alternatives that have it? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 01:55 PM PDT So my chrome version is 66 and when I went to open chrome after getting home from work, my url bar is back up top. I knew this day was coming but wasn't prepared. So, which direction should I be looking in for a new browser that's as quick as chrome is that also has a bottom url bar? Cheers! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Apr 2018 07:18 AM PDT I've got my mum a cheap 1gb phone and I need a good keyboard with low ram consumption. GBoard uses up to 100mb ram! Older Google keyboard & Xperia keyboard port are using ~30mb The whole trebuchet launcher with weather widget consumes and app short cuts is using just 20 MBs [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Apr 2018 04:54 AM PDT I have been using business calendar pro for years on two Android devica es and completed I am having big problems on how the program handles recurring tasks. Somehow the tasks get changed from recurring to single events. I have tried editing the task on both devices making sure that the task is recurring on both. Does not help. When a change is done , i.e. today's task, the task is changed to a single on the other device and now the "total" task is marked as completed. I no longer get a reminder for the next recurring task. App that turns auto-rotate on only when the keyboard is up? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 10:54 PM PDT Portrait mode typing sucks, but I don't like using portrait mode in any apps. I'm looking for any way, app or otherwise, to only enable auto-rotate when the keyboard is open. Anyone know of something like this? Something like tasker would be useful but I don't think it can do this. [link] [comments] |

Browser with tabs in recent apps? Posted: 26 Apr 2018 04:21 AM PDT Hello, I'm really frustrated with how Chrome tabs work. When I want to switch between things I just the recent apps button. So whenever I use chrome and want to switch between apps I use the recent apps button and accidentally switch to another app instead of switching tabs. Is there a browser that makes a new "app" for each tab in recent apps? I know Chrome used to do this, but doesn't anymore, and I can't seem to find a setting to turn it on again. But they do it sheets and docs, so it should be possible. Any help would be much appreciated. [link] [comments] |
