What is your opinion about endless games? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 08:00 PM PST Like Temple Run, Flappy Bird and all those games where the only objective is to raise your maximum score. Giving my opinion... I see they make great success, but I find it actually very frustrating to play a game with no final resolution. As a developer, I get even more frustrated because most of these games are much easier to make than a level based game, but yet they have great potential to become viral (like the games mentioned above). So, what do you think that make this kind of game so popular? Do you enjoy playing them? [link] [comments]
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of The Lions worth it for 5 bucks? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 08:35 PM PST I hear great praise about the PSP version and i figure a version i can play on my phone would be neat...anything i should know about the android version like bad touch controls or something? I've released my SECOND game for Android - Texas Sharpshooter Posted: 25 Dec 2017 07:43 PM PST Texas Sharpshooter is a fast paced arcade shooting gallery game - think Fruit Ninja, but with more gun powder.
As you shoot your way through each level, the intensity will rise.
Shoot for as long as you can to get the high score. Dynamite is a nice bonus if you can manage to blow it up in time!
Give it a shot (see what I did there?) and let me know what you think. I'd love to get some feedback before I move onto my next project.
Click here to check it out on Google Play, or search for "Texas Sharpshooter" on your phone. [link] [comments]
More of a discussion. Games in portrait? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 08:15 AM PST I've been using android since my old moment on sprint. I've noticed something over the past couple years though thats been on my mind. I'm finding it to me more and more of a hassle to use my phone in landscape mode. It seems that whenever I download a game, unless I can play it in for train mode, I usually I install it quickly. I also seem to play portrait games much longer too. Most of the clicker and idle games are portrait, Pokémon go is, fire emblem is, and all me emulators are. It just seems like it is so much easier to hold my phone with one hand and play games casually. Aly one else have any input on this, or is there any magic way I can force apps into portrait that I haven't heard of? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Question about android emulators Posted: 25 Dec 2017 09:40 PM PST Is there an emulator or a way to use an emulator or something similar to an emulator where the apps wont detect you as an emulator? Cause some games dont support emulators or block it, But I dont have or cant afford an android phone and android games are the only bonding I have with my friends I dont want to lose that bonding. Then theres this one specific game we have that I cant play anymore cause they dont support emulators like bluestacks. So I ask you all this, Is there a way I can play android games on pc without the apps seeing me as an emulator? [link] [comments]

Arena of Valor and Vainglory comparison Posted: 25 Dec 2017 05:26 AM PST Can someone give me unbiased comparison of pros and cons for both games and give me an opinion in which MOBA should I invest time? I don't plan to spend real money so consider that as well (if any game has any p2w elements). [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Dec 2017 01:50 AM PST It was an idle type game where you set up and expanded a Kingdom. You had to carefully manage your resources (things such as food, water, wood, stone..) throughout, because increasing production of one resource might harm another. For example, a farmer would use water to produce food, a woodcutter would use food to produce wood and so on. Eventually you could progress through the ages. You'd learn how to make pickaxes to give to townspeople and turn them into miners, craft swords for your military etc. I think I got up to the point where you could build ships, and I know it was possible to go even further into the current age, at least as far as I know. There is also a browser version. Hopefully someone remembers the name of this game. It was pretty in-depth for an idle game. [link] [comments] |
