Edit: I already disabled the memory extension. And restarted multiple times. Performance is worse than on 4-6 year old phones I got lying around. [link] [comments] | ||

The problem is that the Mi Max 2 got it's last Android update (7.1.1) in 2019. Is there a way for me to upgrade the phone myself to a newer Android version? (crack, hack, unlock, whatever, I'm ready to learn) Because some android apps started listing Android 8 in their minimum requirements, so if I can't run apps, the phone will be effectively dead. I didn't consider it at first due to high price and because I was looking for solid tires but I just found it online at 300€ and now I'm seriously considering it. Is the price good to get it even if it's not what I was initially looking for? (I really like Xiaomi stuff, that's why I'm being so tempted to get it, but I'm afraid of getting flat tires) anyone has some experience/opinions? So right now I am on MIUI 13.0.1 Stable version but I do not see any new changes as have been mentioned on a couple of Websites and Blogs. For e.g. This website says here says https://xiaomiui.net/important-features-in-miui-13-control-center-16967/ there is a new Sound Control Bar which is now directly available in the control Centre so you do not need to press the Harwardware Buttons for it. | My Redmi note 8T finger sensor acts very weird. Posted: 04 Apr 2022 01:42 AM PDT When I got the phone 2 years ago it worked perfectly of course. I think it started acting weird after I opened it up to fix the volume buttons that would press themselves. Most of the time the finger sensor wont work, and sometimes it MIGHT work if i put a lot of pressure on it. But that very rarely happens. Sometimes it will work ok. No extremely responsive, but with about 2 tries it works. Well yesterday the craziest thing happened. It completely stopped working, and even the finger print sensor settings were gone.it was as if the fingerprint sensor was never in the phone. Right now that im typing this, it works great. I have no idea why. Ive done 2 factory resets so i don't think its a software issue [link] [comments] | ||

Apparently, the poco f2 pro use 5g SA while the mi 10t pro uses 5g nsa. Can Xiaomi please fix this issue please as 4g is very slow in my area. [link] [comments] | ||

I have tried clearing both Data & Cache from Play Store and everything is always stuck at "Pending", as soon as I turn my wi-fi off and connect with data it proceed normally. I have tried it with 3 different Wi-Fi Spots and every time its the same problem. Edit: Also disabled Wi-Fi traffic mode I'm currently using MIUI Global 13.0.4 as a reference. [link] [comments] | ||
