| Please help my phone do a fancy sleepy Posted: 05 Apr 2022 06:34 AM PDT I have a folding case for a 22 ultra, and I would love it if when I closed the case it made the phone lock. I can't find anything that does that. Maybe something that makes the phone lock when it senses that much dark like in a pocket or something. I can't find anything in setting or dev setting or an app or apk. No luck anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |

I commonly see cute dogs (cats too) on my way home, but repeatedly make the mistake of opening the camera app, the correct photo pops up, but the millisecond it takes for me to react and press the shutter the dog moves, or am I passing them by (when I'm in a hurry). Is there an app that I can put in my main menu to open the camera and take a picture right away automatically? [link] [comments] |

After a couple of days uploading the file, I can't upload the same file as websites ask me to upload a valid pdf format. It doesn't matter the website, I can't upload it. | Android 8 stuck navigation buttons on a car-head unit Posted: 05 Apr 2022 07:43 AM PDT Long shot. I have an Atoto S8 Head Unit running Android 8. After a period of time something happens in the UI or OS that causes the top-placed navigation buttons and swipe down to stop responding. So no back, forward, home etc. The only fix is to perform a full system reset and wipe. The cause of the problem is neigh impossible to establish at the user-level. A dev might be able to extract and debug the ROM but that's beyond me. Are there any apps that can 'unfreeze' or somehow try and reset something in the UI? [link] [comments] |

| Help with restoring to a previous back up Posted: 05 Apr 2022 04:59 AM PDT So recently my one plus decided to do a factory reset unprompted. (Yea I got no idea how or why seeing my phone was in my pocket, but whatever) I tried restoring it to a previous back up but it just downloaded all my apps which luckily had all of their data stored on google play's cloud. However, all my personal settings, gallery, and that have not been restored. Is it possible to back it all up to the exact point my phone was before the factory reset or will I have to manually set everything back up again? [link] [comments] |

| Advice for using an external storage device on an android phone Posted: 05 Apr 2022 04:47 AM PDT I know it's possible to plug USB sticks and HDDs etc into a phone using adapters, but is it safe to do so? And does it cause issues for the external device, as you aren't ejecting it before removing it? I ask as I have a bunch of movies I've put into harddrives from blurays I've ripped off to watch on my laptop (as it has no disc drive). I'm going on holiday and can't exactly carry my entire laptop with me as it's big and expensive. [link] [comments] |

(Mi 8) Posted: 05 Apr 2022 03:56 AM PDT Hi, recently broke my phone and while i wait for the replacement display to get here, i wanna access my phone with Vysor or screen mirroring of some kind. Which means i need to figure out how to enable USB debugging specifically. My best shot at doing this without a screen (touchscreen works) would be to enable USB file transfer first, and access the Screenshots folder to get an idea what i'm looking at on the phone. How exactly can i enable either of these without any idea what i'm tapping on the phone? Are there any USB keyboard shortcuts to open settings or something? I wish I could wait for dimensity 9000 and 8 gen 1+ arrival, and Originally thought about a poco F3 for the meantime but xiaomi is just straight " factory broken". Wireless charging is nice to have (100usd difference) but battery autonomy is more important, but still I have my charger with me all the time, is not that big deal. [link] [comments] |

I've registered with GooglePlayStore as a developer and 'uploaded' the aab of my app (as it would not accept an apk) after completing all (at least I hope so) the questions. However, even though it's now active, it doesn't show on my phone using Play Store app or on the Google Play web site (both by search on the name). I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy A21s, and since about 2 days ago my SD card suddenly went unreadable. I've tried every single way I could find on the internet to format my SD card so that I could use it again on my device but it just won't work… I have even tried the "diskpart" method on my Windows laptop. I don't want my device to change my SD card settings by force. And now I don't know how to remove and format it. I'm not sure if this is the right place but I could really use some help here. (Wiko View 3 Pro) Posted: 04 Apr 2022 11:20 PM PDT Hello everyone, I am having trouble with the internal speaker in my Wiko View 3 Pro as I can't hear anything during calls. I've tested with the external speaker and bluetooth headphones, which both work. So I did some googling and found those "secret" codes for the device: Wiko View3 Pro secret codes, Engineering Mode (mobilexfiles.com) So can you tell me how I can perform a simple speaker test? I want to verify that/if this is a hardware problem. I imagined this would be done with *#*#64663#*#* - Engineering Mode (Version, WLAN, Bluetooth, Battery, Speakers) or *#*#0289#*#* OR *#*#0673#*#* - Audio test but neither work. It automatically recognizes the code when I type in the last symbol, but doesn't do anything other than jumping back to my recent calls in the phone app. Thanks for reading and have a nice day! I think it's a systemative problem because when I launch dual system which has nothing inside, this also happen. I used anti virus softwares to scan but everything seems to be fine. It's android 10. I'm using my phone as a HUD in my car windscreen from time to time, mostly at night, to display GPS velocity. The app has a possibility to mirror the image to use it via reflection. | Google Play Store keeps crashing on 2 different devices Posted: 04 Apr 2022 06:24 PM PDT I just got a new Galaxy a7 Lite, set everything up like normal, no issues at first. Now today when I try to run the Google Play Store it keeps crashing, I went through all the standard troubleshooting tips (clear cache in various apps, uninstall updates, reinstall updates, reboot device, etc), nothing had any effect, and I just now realized when I try to run the app on another device (Moto g7 phone) it crashes there as well. I'm similarly logged in under my Google account to both devices but cannot fathom what could be causing an issue with both devices account-wise. Internet is working fine and another user in the house with their own Android device can access the Play Store just fine. [link] [comments] |
