Cisco IOS XE NETCONF Networking |
Posted: 05 Apr 2022 02:08 AM PDT Hello I am a noob to network automation... I can successfully view and make changes etc. I am training for CCIE EI. The one thing I struggle with, is finding the correct "filter" or "config" in ncclient for what I am trying to do. The only reliable way I have found is doing a GET for all running config, then reverse engineering the data model path for the thing I want to change (e.g. SNMP-Server). Pyang is good, but doesn't show some of the lower level attributes available, more the general path (and I don't think is available in the CCIE exam). Is there a better way of doing this as looking through huge configs can make it hard to find the parent tags. Thanks [link] [comments] |
frr bgp route not advertised to peer Posted: 05 Apr 2022 01:33 AM PDT I'm having an issue trying to propagate a route advertisement to peer with frr. Frr is running on ubuntu that has 2 gre tunnels from which I receive the route having the community xxx:666 (10.11.11.9/30 tun0 and 10.11.11.13/30 tun1). Peer 192.168.210.1 and 192.168.210.2 are loopbacks learned by fabric on a leaf/spine infrastructure. Frr reaches the peers via a static route via gw. frr.conf https://paste.xinu.at/ZQh/ bgp nexthop https://paste.xinu.at/YyzI/ show ip bgp: https://paste.xinu.at/YlSjk/ The route is learned and added into to routing table but is never advertised to peer 192.168.210.1 and 192.168.210.2. https://paste.xinu.at/y4p/ What I'm missing?
