Posted: 23 Feb 2022 03:48 AM PST So I updated my Mi 11 lite to MIUI 13 and after the update I did notice some new features like the side bar with floating apps and some other changes but where are the promised new widgets? Unfortunately the official unlocker is a mess and required all my data, yet it still doesn't work. I downloaded the newest ADB drivers and tried the "fastboot flashing unlock" command, device is listed under "fastboot devices" but the unlock fails. What am I doing wrong? The device is nice, but the original OS wants me to comply their privacy statement even when using a calculator. I want a proper OS. [link] [comments] | ||
| Harman Kardon Enhancement Missing? - Mi 11T Pro �� Posted: 23 Feb 2022 04:27 AM PST Hi All I recently got the Mi 11T Pro global version in the UK, it's a nice phone but the Harman Kardon setting is missing jn the menu, instead it seems to be Dolby Atmos. This is disappointing as I'm a bit of a Harman fan boy. It does have the loudspeaker tuning but I need it for use with headphones. I tried it with different cables, outputs and my friend's Mi 10t and my old Mate 10 Lite as well it doesn't work. I dont really have a budget to stick to. I was just thinking that I'd probably just buy the newest phone (Xiaomi 12 pro I think?) But sometimes newer isn't always better. I'm also so overwhelmed because there's so many different types to pick from like pros, lites, notes, etc. I also heard somewhere that 11 is better than 12 or something? So what are your suggestions? How come the notifications problem hasn't been fixed on MIUI yet? I have a Redmi Note 9 Pro (12.5.5), my wife a Redmi Not 8T, her boss a Redmi Note 9T and we all have the same problem: the lock screen notifications are severely delayed. Sometimes it takes 3 hours to get notified of a single incoming gmail message. Same with Messenger, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours of delay. I've browsed hundreds of forums and tried literally everything and nothing changed. Tried different settings, every godda.mn power saving thingy off, all notifications on, tried different apps, wifi never turned off, prayed to G.od, Sa.tan, everything. No change. I have and old POS Lenovo A319 with 4.4 and it works perfectly. My old Samsung Galaxy Tab E receives notifications instantly (4.4). This makes the phone practically useless because I'm not notified of important messages. I've missed auctions because of this. Family got pissed because I never responded to their messages.. because I haven't received them. Missed a package because I haven't got the mail that the courier is coming that day. Please tell me that the 4 of us are just retard.ed and we can't set our phones correctly even after trying several methods. I'll accept that. I just can't accept the fact that a product can be so user-unfriendly that 4 separate people can't get their phones to show lock screen notifications. 1 doctor, 1 nurse, 1 retired secretary, 1 IT guy. I'm serious. I don't even use my 9 Pro anymore and started carrying the A319 instead. Instant notifications are THAT important to me. This shouldn't be this hard and I'm emberassed. | Mi 11 Lite 5G fingerprint scanner stopped working Posted: 23 Feb 2022 12:27 AM PST My fingerprint scanner suddenly stopped working. In the banking apps it said the hardware would not be available. Tried some restarts and it was the same result. I've completely reset my phone now and the fingerprint scanner option is completely gone in the settings, as if this phone has none. I have the phone since release in June, so it is still pretty new. I looked up the issue and found many posts about it. Is this normal for Xiaomi? Due to the issue, I'll have to hand in the phone to my provider for "repair" and this will easily take like 4 weeks. Nowadays you can't really manage life without phone :( [link] [comments] | ||

Font doesn't affect in any app or part. There is no option for a12 accent color in order to change color or...?!? Miui optimization is gone from developer options. Some fonts or themes don't work (perhaps not updated to miui 13) Boot is kinda gone, it is just 2 secs, no miui sound anymore. Apps (like Reddit) don't open in chrome, a pop up like iOS style asks to check via chrome or open app. Edit: I see a minor lag in opening apps. Edit 2: all Google apps have lags and bugs, in sms phone Google play Gmail... I can find the option for that just fine, but I'm having a problem with adding the emergency number to my contacts - the emergency SOS option asks you to choose a number from your contacts. I got it at A1 (Serbia) One night out of nowhere (January 5th-9th 2022) my keyboard was starting to bug, I would type out the entire message and the keyboard started pushing key after key in a 1+ second delay. I decided to reboot it, the phone shut down but got stuck on the MIUI logo without any animation for 5+ minutes... I decided to hold the shutdown button and try to boot it again, the same thing occurred... Everything was okay for 24h and then the same problem occurred. It would be buggy for a few hours and then everything will get back to normal. I have a valid warranty so I sent it for service, the service factory reset it and did not notice any problems, and they returned it back... last time removing all of my google accounts and all of the sensitive data from it. | Disabling MIUI Optimization Disabled VoLTE Posted: 22 Feb 2022 09:33 AM PST I disabled MIUI optimization and turned it back on, on a Poco X3 Pro. It had volte working for the past 2 months in which i had the device, until I turned off the MIUI optimization. (Carrier check is disabled, OMD was submitted through my service provider 2 months ago, VoLTE setting is on) One thing I noticed with disabling this optimization is that it revoked my permissions on some apps, like galaxy wearable. It asked me to redo all the permissions as I opened the app. Maybe this has something to do with the volte problem? [link] [comments] |
