Usb's Disconnecting and Reconnecting Posted: 26 Nov 2021 11:47 AM PST Built a new computer and ever past the first 2 days I've had a problem os USB's disconnecting and reconnecting. Oddly enough its only been 2 of my USB's. Neither my keyboard nor my lightup mousepad. One of them is on my motherboard the other is my frontpanel USB. Asus TUF Gaming F15 - Shutting down while gaming. Posted: 25 Nov 2021 10:39 PM PST My laptop shuts down while playing "The Forest", completely shuts down while in game and it has to be unplugged to turn on, this happens just with this game, i don´t think its an overheating problem, the GPU shows a max 80°C in game. Specs: Microsoft Windows 10 64 bits Firmware FX506HE.309 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400H @ 2.70GHz Intel(R) UHD Graphics 8GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU Driver version 496.76 Already checked all updates, tested in Win 11, restored Win 10 two times, run the game at lowest settings, tested with MyAsus app showing no errors on hardware. Other games tested, Valorant, CSGO, Ghostrunner. [link] [comments]
SSD might be DoA, but I'm not sure Posted: 26 Nov 2021 02:36 AM PST I recently bought a 2tb SSD (i cant remember what model, and I cant find the receipt, but it's one of two i have total) and set it up in my pc that has a rog strix b550-f motherboard. Windows (10) appears to recognize it exists, but when I go into my disk manager, only one of the drives is visible and there isn't any unallocated space. I updated the drivers on both of them but still nothing. So I decided to swap the positions of my two drives, the working one was fine in the other spot, but the other's issue persisted. I took the working drive out and tried to boot up my pc but was unable to exit the BIOS screen. This is my first pc and I'm not a super tech savvy guy but I think the SSD is DoA, can anybody else confirm, or point me in a direction to fix it if it's not DoA? [link] [comments]
Fantech Leviosa MCX01 microphone is USB-only, can I somehow convert to 3.5mm aux mic-in ? Posted: 26 Nov 2021 01:28 AM PST Hi guys, recently bought a Fantech Leviosa MCX01 microphone. It has a USB-B to USB-A cable for connection to PC. Everything works fine. But it doesn't come with any software to perform noise cancelling & mic effects. Right now, I am trying to connect this mic to my external sound card via mic-in port (which has tons of mic effects and noise cancelling). Therefore the question is: how can I convert a USB-only MIC to 3.5mm MIC? What I have tried is by creating a USB-B male to 3.5mm aux MIC (USB-B female) <---USB-B male to USB-A male --->>--- USB-A female to 3.5mm male ---> SOUNDCARD (mic in) [link] [comments] |
