| Any of you still have problems with AMD CPUs on Windows 11? Posted: 03 Nov 2021 11:47 AM PDT So I started getting WAY into Terraria again and not too long ago i updated to Win 11. Very good experience so far, but since the last update with the AMD "fix", it's gotten worse. Terraria has very frequent frame drops regardless of the settings. At first i thought "okay maybe Chrome is using too much RAM again even if i'm only listening to music". Nope. I'm pretty close to just reinstalling Win 10. Any of you guys still have issues? | Posted: 03 Nov 2021 01:43 PM PDT I don't know if Microsoft reads this sub but i gotta say that after installing Windows 11 i'm incredibly angry at what they did to the Taskbar and the Start Menu, they keep trying to fix things that aren't broken and now they went waaay too far. Windows 10 taskbar+start wasn't great but at least it could be made to look and work more or less like the classic windows, grouping programs on the Start menu was actually something i learned to like. The thing is that they now stripped many features from the taskbar and start menu without adding anything actually useful for a regular user. I like the way the OS looks in general tbh, it's just the taskbar and start menu that i find like a very big downgrade in every way. What i'd like to see changed:
If i wanted an oversimplified OS's with almost no customization i'd buy a MAC.... anyway that's just my opinion, or rant if you want to call it that 😊 [link] [comments]  | ||

Not as a screensaver, I'm actually connecting my computer to a 1959 TV set and the HDMI to RF modulator I'm using messes up audio when there are contrasty things on screen and I don't want to hear demonic screeches all the time. Is there the option to only have biometrics and no PIN... or is the PIN always necessary with biometrics as a plus.
