• Anyone know how to fix this? It's a school windows computer. They're literally stopping us from using Google for it's intended purpose.
• Error that network cable is unplugged, but I don't use Ethernet.

Posted: 03 Nov 2021 10:01 AM PDT Hello, I have just arrived back at home to find my new laptop (old, just got second hand a month ago) not being able to find any WiFi networks in the area, windows troubleshooting seems to just tell me to plug in an Ethernet cable which doesn't seem right and is something which isn't very easy for me to do in my apartment sadly (we use shared throughout building) but I only ever use wifi on the laptop and was working perfectly when I left for work ~12 hours ago. Not quite sure what/any info that could help, I'm a bit stumped and my Google skills seem to not be of much use with this. Adapter is "Realtek PCLe GbE Family Controller" Flair set as networking, but could be hardware or anything, networking seemed most fitting for now. submitted by /u/Waste-World [link] [comments]

I have installed an RTX 3070 Ti yesterday and since then I have been having this issue. I'm assuming it has to do with my PSU. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this? I have about 6 USB devices active atm. My computer keep freezing randomly, event after reinstalling windows Posted: 02 Nov 2021 07:33 PM PDT Hi ​ I have a weird problem since i've done my new computer, i normally find myself problems but this one is so specific that i need your help My computer have a weird freeze randomly, once or two time per day, it don't freeze the computer completely, it's like the computer is in slow motion for less than a second, then continue normally, but it can happen in game, while looking videos, or doing nothing special I'm on windows 11 pro, i've updated all my drivers, card driver (rtx 3080), update my ssd microcode (samsung 980 pro 1TB) i've done a full memtest with no errors ( 64 go of hyper x ) done SSD test with crystaldisk, samsung magician, no errors detected, i've reinstalled windows, it happen anyway, updated my bios, everything i can, the problem persist and i'm losing my mind it's really weird The only thing i can think in last is that i have my 3080 on a GPU riser in PCI express 3, s i've forcer pci express 3 on the bios, and maybe is that, but i don't think it's really this What can i do to next ? i'm so lost.. submitted by /u/EndEffected [link] [comments]

I am able to play any game online, roam internet, download from steam, etc. - literally able to do everything except download from MS store, use Xbox beta app (sign-in to download games/party chat), basically unable to do any microsoft account apps. I have tried the simple solutions every youtube video offers (resetting network, DNS restart or whatever its called, etc.) Also, I'm unable to sign into my MS account on Edge as it gives me the same error code.
