| Posted: 03 Nov 2021 09:18 AM PDT I foolishly updated my pixel to Android 12 and what the fucking hell is this?! Everything is huge and has so much unnecessary empty spacing and/or information. Just give me back my (6) icons only quick settings bar and why is the slider for screen brightness or the volume so massive?! :( The only good thing that has come out of this is that I now know I don't have the eyesight 60+ y/o. So basically I'm looking for a launcher that has the Android 11 look and feel and has at least the same customisation options, because this android 12 thing is just horrible. [link] [comments]  |

So I'm looking for such an app. It helped me track how much I used a app or didn't and then decide on removing if it wasn't used much but now I can't see anything that could assist me. Thanks. | Opera removing my play store review Posted: 03 Nov 2021 08:11 AM PDT I'm posting this after the 4th time I've tried to make a review. The last time I didn't add any comments, just put 1 star. I get a notification that says "developer has responded to your review" and then when I go to the play store it's removed. I've had app downloaded at least a week before reviewing. Sometimes I've had reviews for other apps seem deleted but populate later except this seems different since it would've shown my older review by now. If I had to guess, they got it removed because I said, "doesn't include 'open in app' button that firefox has" and that maybe could tell Google automatic removal that it's a "system level" issue. But then when I mark it as one star without any text it still gets removed. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 03 Nov 2021 04:00 AM PDT I want a recurring (daily) to-do list with the same items, but also a calendar/some sort of graph even to see what days I completed each task. It helps me keep track of when I start to slip into depression and need to get back into routine or call my therapist. Unfortunately, you don't realize you're slipping til it's too late. I'll wake up one day and look around my house and want to cry, not having realized I hadn't been cleaning. Sorry for rambling, but just any kind of chore list that I can keep track of the history as well. I have tried multiple ones, but they only have the daily recurring lists, not able to view the past. Currently I use my family iPad with the default Notes app and a bootleg apple pen. But I need a device of my own and I'm leaning toward trying out the Galaxy Tab series. I was wondering if there was a good whiteboard app as a replacement (obviously with support). I'm looking for Export to PDF feature, basic pen/highlighter tool, selection tool and most importantly a laser pointer function (makes it easy to point to things on the screen without writing anything down). | Apps to forward SMS to email automatically Posted: 03 Nov 2021 07:06 AM PDT This question was originally asked here (5 years ago) I'm wondering if anyone knows of a better app or can help me figure out the problem with the INFTT app Basically, the app just doesn't work sometimes and I don't know why. When the screen is on, INFTT app forwards SMS messages perfectly. When the phone (Moto G8+) has been off for some time, SMS's seem to stop forwarding. I suspect it's an issue with the power settings, but I don't know how to fix it. [link] [comments]  |

| Android Auto stopped working for Galaxy S20 Posted: 03 Nov 2021 06:04 AM PDT I have a Galaxy S20 and android auto stopped working in both my vehicle and my wife's vehicle. I have tried the following trouble shooting: 1) Used different cords 2) Tried it in different vehicles 3) Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times. 4) Tried restarting my phone a few times. 5) Looked around in the settings in both my phone and vehicles and nothing seems amiss. (Viruses) Posted: 03 Nov 2021 07:27 AM PDT I got a phising message and I clicked on the download link :( my android then asked me if I wanted to download an apk file. My options were cancel or ok. I think it pressed cancel but Im not 100% sure. Is it possible that this was already enough to get the app installed? I did a Kaspersky scan and it could not find anything. Can I somehow find out if the apk was downloaded or is it possible that it is hidden? [link] [comments]  |
