- All of my mom's flash drives are infected
- Windows 10 doesn't boot after messing up the optane m2 64gb
- Pc is shutting down after 5 minutes or so
- reset/reflash Intel management Engine component Firmware completely
- Not being able to play games properly even though laptop consists of the recommended specs
- Somethings wrong with my reddit and showing images
- Computer showing 32GB of RAM, only able to use 16GB
- Dual Display Port - Only One Monitor on Boot
| All of my mom's flash drives are infected Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:09 PM PDT Hello everyone. My mom has a bunch of USB flash drives since she works with her computer a lot. Sometimes she comes to me asking why she can't see her files; the drives show as being almost full, but they're empty. When this happens I just run an antivirus and see that all the folders are there, just hidden. But like I said, this is happening with *all* of her flash drives. She doesn't know how or when they become infected. Is there a way to prevent this? And is what I'm doing enough or should I do something else to "fix" them? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Windows 10 doesn't boot after messing up the optane m2 64gb Posted: 03 Oct 2021 02:02 PM PDT So I enabled the optane 64gb as the raid (to achieve faster speeds on my boot disk) but pc ran into errors the moment I turned off pc.. Now it doesn't boot. I set it raid and m.2 genine Intel optane raid enabled from bios but I get automatic repair screens. I googled it but I can't find the solution. I really don't want to format my boot disk I had a system restore point before enabling the m2 optane thing. But it says can't find any restore points.. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Pc is shutting down after 5 minutes or so Posted: 03 Oct 2021 08:20 AM PDT It's not a hard crash, it goes through the windows shut down sequence. It just started happening this morning. Every time I turn it on, about 5 minutes later it starts shutting down. It's a custom pc, about 18 months old. I haven't changed anything recently. [link] [comments]  | ||

OS shuts off, but main board remain active and needs to be fource turn off with lenovo reset button every time. I observed that my problem could be due to error in intel ME component because:

| Dual Display Port - Only One Monitor on Boot Posted: 02 Oct 2021 05:16 PM PDT I have a dual display port video card and only one monitor activates on boot into windows 10, I have to unplug a displayport cable and reinsert and then both monitors are detected. This does not happen on Linux (Pop OS 21.04), any ideas what's causing it? Swapping cables did not change the behavior. If it matters it is a Ryzen 5950x, Aorus Master X570MB, and a 3090 FE.
