    Hi, I just update my Mi Note 10 Global to MIUI 12.5.3 I was so excited looking at the Youtube videos about the update and the features in it, however I can't see any of the claimed features The features I didn't see: 1- Wallpaper and Personalization 2- The new touch and sound settings 3- The super wallpapers but I'm not complaining since they said it's only for high end devices 4- The overall new settings look and the cards view of the ringtones etc. Is there a problem with my device? Or is it something everyone is seeing Thank you!

    The dual camera is just nice as it is symmetrical, no finger print scanner at the back, and the transparent titanium is coolest casing in its class during its time. Im using a regular Mi 8, the one with the finger print scanner at the back, wish I bought the 8 pro/explorer

    Mi 11 ultra

    Have been using the mi11 ultra for a while now.

    I have a few things to say about the rear display features.

    1. I do not want others to see who I am calling Or who is calling me. Some people might. I think people should have an option where they can toggle as it is now with notifications.

    2. Music player control on the rear display is weird. It responses to touches when it is in my pocket.

    3. There must be an option where I can only switch on double tap to wake the screen. I do not want it to wake up everytime i put down my phone.

    Lastly a question. How can I revert back from the super saving mode? It is a very thoughtful and might be useful feature in case of emergencies.

    Unlocking phone without resetting it?

    So my father's friend just passed away recently and he was wondering if there was a way to unlock the phone because there's a lot of memories and data with sentimental value, the only problem is that he never disclosed the password to anyone before passing so now I have no idea how to unlock it without wiping it completelly. Any ideas?

    My notifications from messenger aren't working

    How good is the Poco F3 compared to phones in the same price range (including used flagships)?

    If I have $300-400, would it be better to buy a brandnew Poco F3 than a used S10+ or P30 Pro or Note 10?

    • I don't game so much, but I play a few games. It's not the most important.
    • Battery is very important. Data+hotspot 16hours/day. It has to last a day of moderate-heavy use, but I guess this is subjective. Just give your own opinion :)
    • Camera has to be good but doesn't have to be great. Just for snapshots for social media. I already own a DSLR for the serious shots. I also heard GCAM is compatible with F3, how much better is it?
    • OS/UI. Is MIUI really bad? I know I like OneUI. I'm also open to custom ROMing the F3, but I'm not sure if bank apps will work, and I don't know yet if there is a ROM that is stable and polished for a daily driver.
    • Performance: I don't want it to lag, at least when using apps & switching between apps.

    My current phone is a Huawei P30. I like it but it drains too fast, and the camera is disappointing.

    Adding an app to picture in picture freezes phone

    Currently on 12.0.2 android 11 on a redmi note 9s. Adding apps to picture in picture freezes my phone and forces me to reboot. Any way to fix this?

    Cell standby because of dual sim draining battery at idle at night and causing heating issue when dual sims enabled (MIUI 12.5.4.0),

    I have Redmi note 10 pro global version. MIUI version 12.5.4.0.

    This happens only when I use two sim cards. Also using 2 sim cards heat up the device so much during normal usage. I slept with 25% charge and woke up to no battery at all.

    Using only one sim card does not drain the battery.

    I saw similar post here but it only mentioned the battery drain due to cell standby but I have both battery drain and heating issue due to cell standby which only happens when 2 sims are enabled.

    There were no background apps, no WIFI, no mobile data, no Bluetooth, no location enabled. And I was using dual 4g with voLTE enabled.

    Any solutions to this?

    Does "Battery Saver" mode for in app settings affect anything?

    I don't see a difference in those modes, it seems that the system still kills the app, no matter if it's at "no restrictions", "smart mode" or else.

    Bluetooth - audio stuttering. MIUI 12

    Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with their bluetooth headphones - audio stuttering on MIUI 12. I have a Xiaomi Redmi 9T. The headphones work fine on other devices, so it seems to be linked to this firmware. Anyone got a solution by any chance?

    Cloud Services

    Do you use Xiaomi Cloud services instead of Google Cloud? Do you use both? Is the Xiaomi Cloud good enough to match Google's? Just got my first Xiaomi device and this came into mind after having to create a Mi account. I'm really enjoying this new experience, just wanted to know if using just one cloud service makes sense.

    when i use yt app I have microcuts only with youtube and it is annoying. If I use another app, everything works fine just with yt. on my pc I have no problems.

    Miui 12 update

    Hello, I've got a Redmi note 9 which was working perfectly, 0 stutters, everything was smooth and great.

    After the update I can't watch YouTube videos in 720p60 nor even in 480p without it stuttering every 4 seconds, my battery runs out in a day when it used to last for 2 - 3 days at least. The UI is slow and laggy as well, just reporting on what's going on, hope this gets looked at soon.

    Current version:12.0.1 stable
