    Eg I want to use tasker to turn the WiFi off when a certain hermit webapps is opened , but when I go to the list of apps in tasker it only lets me chose it for hermit and not any of the webapps in hermit https://i.imgur.com/biKFhMd.jpg

    App that turns off wifi until a password is entered (parental controls don't cut it)

    My kid is really clever, so just about any external method I try and use doesn't seem to work.

    The routers parental controls don't work right, so I need to disable the internet from their tablet itself.

    Is there any app I can install without a rooted device which will either keep turning off/disabling wifi, or which will just lock all apps from wifi until/unless a password is entered?

    Tethering Wi-Fi via Wi-Fi

    I need to tethering wifi via wifi, not wifi via bluetooth or usb, or mobile data via wifi, wifi via wifi. Its possible in some devices, but the problem is in one particular i need i cant, i dont know why, it simply doesnt have the option. There is an app or something i can do to do the Tethering in all devices? [Apology bad english]

    After the birth of my son, I decided to revive an app I had written a couple years back. It lets you set any number of video's as your wallpaper. I use it mainly to show video's of my son (because I'm THAT dad now...) but others have used it for other neat reasons. Someone put lectures on.

    It also includes a bunch of features like widgets, gestures, filters, etc... for fun and quality of life.

    I really enjoy google maps and waze, but they both really annoy me when they read the entire sign on the hwy.

    Like, I get it. There's 3 different routes according to the sign. Do you really have to tell me to follow the sign that has "insert routes here."

    I use to love this one gps app, but I have forgotten what it was called. It would say things "now, take the next exit." "Now, turn left/right." "Continue straight for 25 minutes." Etc.

    Is there any navigation apps that don't interrupt your music by obnoxiously reading an entire sign? I know the way there, I'm just using it just in case there was an accident.

    I'm thinking of using Tasker to automate it when phone detect I'm at home.

    1. How much battery can I really save?
    2. Is it worth it since Tasker will be constantly running in background?
    3. Is there a specialized / simpler app that does it other than Tasker?
    4. Any other tips to help save or maintain battery life?

    long story short is i have a med i need to take in cycles, which follow as:

    -once every other day for two weeks

    -once every day for two weeks

    -once every other day for two weeks

    -nothing for two weeks

    after the cycle finishes, it starts again. i tried using medisafe, but it doesn't seem to have an option for this.

    Chrome and Edge tabs only showing in a list

    Hi all,

    I've noticed over the past week or so that my tabs in Chrome (regular version, not Dev or Beta) and Edge both show my tabs in list format only. There are no groupings and no large thumbnails. I've gone into the flags and played around and reset them all to default but still to no avail. I have also downloaded Chrome Dev and Beta without logging in, just in case it's a synchronised setting, but still the same layout.

    I'm running a Samsung Galaxy S10 5G with the latest Android 11 firmware.

    Any helps would be appreciated-I haven't seen it replicated anywhere. Pictures below:

    Spotify opens randomly

    Hi everyone! I'm really struggling with spotify on my S20. Ever since I got this smartphone spotify start playing randomly in my pocket. Sometimes the app doesn't even open, just start playing, so I have to unlock, find the app and pause the audio.

    Does anyone know how to stop this?

    Eye in Sky weather app

    is there a way on stock android to pin apps in the recents screen so they dont close when clicking the close all button or manually swiping on them ? Samsung phones already have that and coming from that ,i really miss this option

    Screen timeout got automatically changed to 1 second

    I'm using the samsung f62. Today while I was using my phone, the screen timeout got automatically changed to 1 second. I was just customizing my CPL launcher and it got changed. This has never happend before. The weird thing is that it got changed to 1 second and natively there isn't wven an option for 1 second. Anyways after that I restarted the phone and changed it back to 10 minutes through settings. The weird part is that after changing it back to 10 minutes that option disappeared. Can someone explain me what the hell happened?

    Can overuse of speaker cleaner app damage your phone?

    I used it recently on my phone when the speaker got affected by water. It did help the speaker in the first use. I wanted to clean the speaker better so I double used it but now the battery of my phone seems swelled and even the speaker seems a little rough. What should I do now?

    While hiking, select one of your spots on the map to quickly show how far away it is. Updating in real time.
    Your location marker will show what direction you are facing to aid in relocating your spot.

    Got an iNaturalist observation you're thinking about? Easily import it when creating a new spot. All you need is the observation's URL.     Looking for Tool/APP to share media to friends on messenger.

    Hi,

    lets say i want to share some memes/media to some of my friends on FB Messenger (4 groups and 2 standalone users). To do that i have to:

    - click share button and if those gropus are in "last" section i can share it directly there (most of the time they are not there).

    - search for each group conversation name and friend name that i want to send media to (there is a list of random people that i've never seen before and i don't know being suggested so i have to be extra careful to send those media to only the people and groups i want to).

    So what i'm looking for - is some kind of tool that i can just paste media/share from there and it will be sending media to only those people i want, without suggesting all those randoms.

    Clock apps

    Is there an app similar to Amplify's Xposed module that reduces NLP wakelocks?

    I have always used amplify on my rooted devices. I found it had a tremendous impact on battery life by letting the phone sleep more when not in use, especially Google's NLP and NLP collector wakelocks.

    Amplify doesn't seem to be available anymore, and besides in any case I have not flashed Xposed my current device because I'm concerned about losing safetynet.

    Is there a root app available somewhere that can reduce NLP wakelock?
