    My Pixel 3XL died unceremoniously in a bootloop at the 2 year mark, after the first unit was replaced in warranty, and Google didn't offer any sort of resolution— they seem not to have any QC on the Pixel devices.

    On the other hand, when the camera lost focus well out of warranty on my old 3T, OnePlus offered to fix the device for free.

    I went shopping for a newer phone and luckily found the 7T to be on blowout for $199 in their store app: https://www.oneplus.com/oneplus-7t-tmo?from=7t

    It just came today and seems like a very nice phone for the price.

    Is the OnePlus 8t worth it?

    I was wondering if it would still be a good option. The OnePlus 8t is on sale for $599 and the other phone I was considering was the s20 fe. I am also wondering if I should instead spend $100 more on the s21 or $130 more on the OnePlus 9. What are your thoughts?

    Oneplus 9 Pro or Oppo Find X3 Pro

    I'm trying to decide between these two phones in UK. I know they are practically the same phone in terms of screen, CPU, storage etc and they are part of the same umbrella company but which is the better option? Is Oppo higher up the pecking order within the company so likely to have better support?

    Camera quality is important along with longevity.

    OnePlus 9 with Googles camera app has a strange interaction. Was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing.

    So I was reading how there was a way to use Google's camera app on OnePlus phones to improve the quality of pictures taken. So I downloaded the Goohle Camera app and was taking some comparison pictures.

    I noticed something weird though. When using the Google camera app it seems it has a wider field of view vs the OnePlus camera app. Using the same distance zoom with both apps x0.6 or x1.0, with the Google app I get more stuff in the picture.

    I just tried again and the Google Camera app at X1.0 zoom gives exactly the same field of view when using the OnePlus camera app at x0.6.

    Is anyone else using the Google camera app and noticed this??

    Ive been putting off updating my phone for almost 2 weeks now, but now I decided to update. When I press the update notification, I download the update. Then it begins installing. At 0% installed the update page's header turns into; "system update Installation failed". If I press "try again" it loads a bit, and then comes up with a bubble saying "System update installation failed. Checking for full upgrade package." And brings me back to DOWNLOAD the exact thing I just tried downloaded and tried to install.

    What do I do?

    I'm on Oxygen OS 11.0.8.12.KB05BA and I'm trying to update to Oxygen OS 11.0.8.13.KB05B

    edit: Accidentally wrote 8T, forgot that this is the 8 pro. I get them mixed up.

    Has your unlock pattern ever stopped working?

    I am sick to my stomach. I just want to start off with if the phone knows my Gmail password, why cant I use that to log in?

    Currently in my 200th attempt to unlock my phone, looks like im going to have to do a factory reset. I had so many pics, screenshots and more.

    I had turned my phone off to charge the phone faster, when I went to turn the phone on, the phone would just not recognize the pattern. Has this happened to any of you?

    Im just mind boggled that the phone has my pin plus gmail password but I still have to do a factory reset. I guess this is more a vent/rant because ive seen others with this issue from a year or two ago and still the only way to resolve this is to do a factory reset

    Unlocking my Oneplus 8t...

    Ive had the Oneplus 8t for like a month and i love it, but one thing is really annoying, everytime i try to unlock the phone, it freezes for like 3-4 secs and oy then unlocks. So cases it just freezes on a black screen with fingerprint logo or just on the home screen for like 20 secs and then it becomes responsive again or just restarts. Idk i try deleting some apps of my and it helped for a day, but today same thing again. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Can I switch carriers on my One Plus 7 Pro 5G sprint edition?

    Long story short 2 years ago I swapped from my iphone 6 to a One Plus 7 Pro 5G edition. (I bought the phone outright) With the T-Mobile Sprint merger the service has been super shitty where I live and a bunch of out of no where rate raises Im thinking of switching to Verizon. Is it possible to switch to other networks on the sprint version of the 7 Pro?

    Google Reminders not working (OP7P)

    Recently my reminders have began not working. I cannot set any reminders, although Google Assistant says that they are set. No new reminder is added in the Google app or the Google calendar.

    I tried reinstalling, clearing app cache, clearing app storage, and restarting phone. Any one have a solution?
