Posted: 03 Jul 2021 03:43 PM PDT My laptop (specs here: https://business.currys.co.uk/catalogue/computing/laptops/windows-laptop/msi-ge66-valhalla-15-6-gaming-laptop-assassins-creed-valhalla-game-code-intel-core-i7-rtx-2070-1-tb-ssd/N697856W ) has an i7-108-75H processor @ 2.3-5.1GHz. When gaming, nzxr CAM has recorded temperatures averaging 60-70C, with 77C as the highest I've seen. What I'm worried about are the temperature spikes, which I track with CPUID HWMonitor. It often records spikes of 98-99, but today for the first time one of the cores spiked to 100. I'm really worried about these spikes, what can I do to lower them? I've vaguely heard about capping the load? would that help? and if so how do I do it? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 03 Jul 2021 10:38 AM PDT My computer randomly turned off while I was playing a game without Warning, it Then Said something like "updating don't turn the computer off. I had to Do something so I left it like that for an hour. When I Got home, and tried to turn it on, it Got stuck on the loading screen(I have an Asus computer(not a laptop)) Then I tried to restart it by Holding the Button in, it came up with a "preparing automatic repair, and it just loaded and kept on loading for about an hour, untill I tried restarting again. When I try to restart it, it either just freezes on the loading screen, says "preparing automatic repair" or just a Black screen, I've tried plugging the power out, I've tried Holding F8 when starting up, which brings up a gray screen where I Can choose to boot up a set up, or Windows server managment, if i boot up the Windows option it just freezes again, if i choose the other option it takes me to Bios which I'm pretty sure is updated. I don't know what Else to Do I've tried restarting it 3 times to boot it in safe mode but it dosen't work If you have any idea please let me know [link] [comments]  | ||
