Since I have dual apps for my school accounts, when I was about to send out photos through messenger in dual app, only the recently downloaded photos show up and almost everything was shown as "error loading media". I decided to the delete the dual app so I can install it again, yet the feature is not on Settings anymore. This is a bummer since dual apps are almost a necessity at this time. | just got my first xiaomi phone ever, a few issues I need help with Posted: 28 Jun 2021 02:33 PM PDT hi, I just bought my first Xiaomi phone ever, the redmi 9t.Liking it so far, only issue I have with it is surrounding Spotify. my first problem is that the volume is VERY low when using my Sony xm3's, and that the media volume is lowered when receiving a text even though I've turned the ringer volume down to minimum. anyone with a fix? the second one which is extremely annoying is that the banner for "now Playing" that should show when you swipe down to look at your notifications is nowhere to be found. there's no "now playing" on the lockscreen either. I've given spotify access to ALL notifications thinking that would fix it, but that did nothing. EDIT: Nevermind on the second issue, it fixed..itself? lmao. I always used a samsung so I don't have much experience with what I should do with my new device. I'm a casual phone user and don't really care about gaming. Is it recommended to root and remove bloatware instantly? Or flash a custom rom? What are the pros and cons of both? | Mi5 keeps restarting but only outside home Posted: 28 Jun 2021 12:45 PM PDT Got Mi5 Prime edition on MIU Global 10.0.1, android 8.0. For the last few months the phone often keeps restarting when Im outside home, regardless of temperature (-10 to +30 celcius). It doesn't happen all the time, but let's say every ~2 hours and it can restart like 1-10x in a row (or without end) and device gets hot. It never happens inside even when it's very hot in the room +27 celcius. So I figured it does not restart in airplane mode so when it restarts i try to quickly turn to airplane mode before another restart and then it stops restarting. Issue is not likely related to me moving, cause it also restarts outside when im not moving. Outside it also keeps restarting with WIFI off, but I haven't tested if it restarts with mobile data off. In the past I never had any serious stability problems, maybe occasional restart once a few months and I'm using this for 4 years already. Any ideas what's the cause, if it's fixable or beyond hope and it's place is on phones cementary ? Is it planned obsolescence lol? I really love this phone cause it got excellent combination of features: CPU+price+small width+low weight , nowadays there are no such phones with such feature combination (especially width <70mm) [link] [comments]  | ||
