I even keep it at 60hz, disabled lots of apps, don't play games, low brightness and wifi always on, barely get 6 hours of SOT. previously I used a S20 FE and even on 120hz I could go a whole day without worries. I would like to know the ecosystem, principles of operation and behavior of the system.One of the ideas is to change my 7t pro to an iPhone 12 for the next six months but I'm afraid of regress. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 08:40 AM PDT I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I used to work at the Apple Store where I had an Apple Music subscription for free that lasted me from 2019-2021. I'm pretty frugal with my money so instead of paying a subscription model, I can just get an android phone with modified apk's and only have to pay a one-time expense. Most my friends are on Discord, Messenger, Snapchat, Instagram so iMessages and FaceTime isn't really useful when other apps can do the same exact thing. Also, I want to get back into CODM and I heard a new PUBG is being released on Android so I'd like to have a phone that can handle gaming as well. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:46 AM PDT So fastcharging my OnePlus 9 pro takes temp to 42°C but for only like 30 mins and slowcharge with ipad pro charger temp is about 37-38°C and charging takes like 1.5 hours , if time isn't constrain which type of charging will be relatively better for battery life? Somehow the phone reset itself to factory settings. totally wiped everything my phone. I was on Oxygen 11 Was a massive pain in the ass and a waste of an afternoon fixing everything. A casual google search reveals I'm not the only one. not by a longshot. Super lame and not sure I'll go with a OnePlus for my next phone. [link] [comments]  |

However the "OEM unlocking" option is still greyed out. I was under the impression that on the international firmware being sim unlocked was not a requirement. Is this true or am I mistaken? It all comes down to personal preference and I know that this subreddit can get painfully honest when talking about a device. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I am looking for a smartwatch to add to my day to day use and since I am using a OnePlus phone which I really like (strange, ikr) I figured I should give the watch a try. It didn't turn out what everyone was expecting it to be and I'm more than okay with what it is at the moment. A watch that doesn't really compete with the rest of the competition since it doesn't offer anything that makes it stand out even in the least and promised software updates and/or stock that never seems to get renewed makes it hard for someone to trust that it's going to be even decent but I am still considering giving it a try. My use is that of the average user. No need for apps, listening to music or pretending that talking on a phone call through it is better for my needs. What I like actually about it is that it seems like an amped up version of a regular smartband that has only the "essential" features with some tracking options and a huge, bright screen that will not die on me each and every day. I have checked as many reviews I could find that wouldn't be that biased and I still haven't made up my mind so I take it upon you to give me an honest opinion. Should you have any recommendations loosely based on my needs, feel free to share as I have no idea for what to look for. Money is not really an issue as long as it doesn't cost me the one good kidney I have. Btw, if it's any help, my job is at an office so I can use all my devices freely and the type of my workouts don't involve parkour so I don't care about meassuring my heartrate as if I'm going to be a pro. One last thing, the size of it is something that bothered me but not a dealbreaker so there's that too. tl;dr : Looking for a smartwatch, considering the OP one, going for looks, not for features and I'm open to suggestions [link] [comments]  |

I've read that this has multiple versions, one with sim+SD this seems to me like that. Posted: 26 Jun 2021 11:43 PM PDT Hi everyone, I have a OnePlus 8 that I absolutely love except for the fact that since I got the phone the mandatory system storage is slowly increasing. It has gotten to the point that it is single handedly taking up almost the entire hard drive and I don't even have room for anything else. I don't have much media or app storage on the phone to begin with compared to most people, but the OS now says it is taking up 90gb out of my 128gb hard drive!! It will not let me access the system files to look at what is going on or delete of that either. Does it hold the data from every old OS version each time it updates to a new version and thus hard drive just gets more cluttered with old OS variants each update that never get deleted? Seems ridiculous, I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions? Thanks!! [link] [comments]  |
| Black Screen on OnePlus 6 but phone functions normally Posted: 27 Jun 2021 08:51 AM PDT Hey Guys, My OnePlus 6 screen has gone pitch black after taking a little water to it. It wasn't that much. In fact I used the phone for a little bit after I dried it up (on the outside) and it was functioning normally. Later I locked the screen and set it down and when I tried to unlock it afterwards, the screen wouldn't work. I left it for the night hoping it would have recovered by morning but sadly it did not. It even woke me up with the alarm lol which I had a hard time snoozing xD. I'm getting calls and texts and even vibration, charging etc works. I tried holding the power button and the volume up button it restarted but nothing made the screen come back to life. I've tried all button combinations. I even tried blow drying it with cold, warm air and it did not work. Tried putting it in the freezer and that did not work too. I've charged it for a long time and the battery reached 100. But it still did not work. Perhaps the display is damaged for good? It has only been less than 24 hours since it took the water damage (I'm guessing at this point it's water damaged). Any help is appreciated. I do not wish to get the display repaired as it's a hefty amount. I'd rather get a new phone instead but I really wish to make this one work as some of the data inside of it is still of use. I tried connecting it to my laptop but it detects it as CD Drive. I guess that's because I'd have to allow it to transfer data to my PC, which I'm unable to because I can't see anything. [link] [comments]  |

I can't even force shutdown it. Can anyone tell me what to do. Did anyone face such situation? Edit: The phone has cooled down now. Still it's stuck at the logo. I can't for the life of me get into EDL properly or something because I always get a Sahara error. Tried other cables, the original USB C cable, new drivers, everything. Didn't work.
