• Mi neckband bluetooth earphones have their colour peeling off. This is the second pair with this issue, and with the first one Xiaomi replace it immediately. Why is this happening? It starts off with small cracks around buttons (as seen in the video) and then larger pieces fall off.

Problems with phonecalls Posted: 03 Mar 2021 11:08 PM PST Xiaomi Redmi 8, I use the Phone app from Google, everything is up to date. From yesterday I started encountering issues with making/receiving phonecalls. I see if someone is calling, I can pick it up, but we can't hear each other. When I want to call someone, it looks like I'm calling, but it actually doesn't connect to them, and there is no sound indicating the number is being dialled. The Redmi 9 is the worst Android phone I've probably ever used. Posted: 03 Mar 2021 04:41 PM PST I don't know what they were thinking really. The phone can't run MIUI at all with it's slow underpowered MediaTek. I got a Poco X3 instead and it's way better. I know it's $100 phone but still it's almost completely unusable.My old Nexus 6 is way faster than it. Save your money and buy something decent with a Snapdragon soc. I am pretty new when it comes to reddit and posting problems regarding the phone, but I will try my best; I bought the Redmi Note 9 around 4 months ago, and the phone, per se, is pretty good for it´s price. My problem is, that it is constantly freezing when it comes to using apps that need RAM. The phone has 3GB RAM, which means, the most apps should work without any issues, right? Apps like Instagram start to lag after 3-4 minutes. When closing and reopening it, it is working fine again. Playing games is impossible tho... Sometimes the problem occurs with camera; When starting it, it freezes for like 5 - 10 seconds, so taking "instant" photos is nearly impossible. I already did a hard reset on the phone, but nothing has changed. MIUI Global 12.0.5.0 (QJOEUXM) Android version: 10 QP1A.180711.020 Kernel version: 4.14.141-g2dd0cee P.S; I read that many people change the OS since it helps. What are Your thoughts about it?
