- Been trying to figure out what this mess is. My screen splits in half so the left hand side is on the right and there are these fun flashing lines too. Updated my graphics cards drivers with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
- ! I just got a new pc at my local computer store. And the pc is restarting randomly with a blue screen with the message down below. I think that the cause is is psu cuz it is 750 watts and my gpu is rtx 3080.

Phone details are below. It's been having battery issues where the battery life is virtually 10-15% from fill so dies at 85-90%,but all of a sudden apps won't work or open for that matter. I only want to get them to work as I have information I Want to access. Which leads me to this, is there a way to backup text conversations on third party apps like Snapchat, kik, or dating apps like tinder? Any and all advice is welcomed. My phone is the Samsung galaxy s6 edge. Plan on getting a new one soon, likely today, but just worry I'll lose years worth of conversations. Thank you so much, [link] [comments]  | ||

I forced it to use my 1650 on windows and on my nvidia control panel, but it keeps ignoring it and using my internal gpu. anyone know a fix? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 23 Mar 2021 01:40 AM PDT I was on YouTube and out of nowhere my Kaspersky started blocking malicious link events leading to a weird number link with /wpad.dat at the end of the url. It's happening every 30 minutes I think and the application name is svchost.exe I ran a quick scan and it came out clean and now I'm running a full scan. I have also disconnected my pc from the internet. If it's something malicious I'm guessing it has come from a putlocker type website I opened yesterday to watch a movie. I tried cleaning cache, restarting the phone, uninstalling an app and installing it again. Nothing helps. Do you have any ideas what the problem might be? The rest of the apps seem to work properly. Edit: The affected apps are Messenger, Duolingo, Duckduckgo and others. Update: Problem solved after disabling Chrome. 🤷♂️ Many people having the same problem solved it by disabling WebView, but it was already disabled for me. [link] [comments]  | ||
| phone keeps making a notification sound despite the default notif tone being "silent" Posted: 23 Mar 2021 12:20 AM PDT so i updated my Samsung A71 last night and it did change the look a lot, which is great but one annoying thing keeps happening. I have my default notification tone as "silent", i don't like my phone chiming everytime there's a notif or a text so it just vibrates but doesn't make any sound, however, ever since i installed the update, it WON'T STOP MAKING A SOUND, every damn time, i have to put my phone on vibrate mode if i want no sound, which i don't want to cause i need to know if there's a call I've checked the settings like thrice already, the default notification tone is "silent", my whatsapp in app notification tone is also silent, but everytime there's a text my phone goes pingggg . | Posted: 22 Mar 2021 03:17 PM PDT Please anyone help me I've been badly badly hacked and I don't know what the hell to do I'm scared it's spread to my entire house he's extremely skilled It started with him being on with me for an hour on omegle getting to my arcon and hacking through my chrome then changing all my passwords I found yesterday I couldn't delete trustedinstaller I know it's malware it's not legitimate it has files all around it DLL files and I can't delete it on any computer in my house I don't have permission a user named trusted user has every permission no one else does to delete anything I tried to get some files onto a USB from my computer and plug it in to a non-infected computer and it instantly infected that computer anyone who connects to Wi-Fi is instantly infected there's root kits there's multiple viruses I don't know what to do he's gotten into my iCloud my emails I don't know how to get him out can he listen through my HomePods can you get through my Apple TV this may sound like a dumb question but can he inject the virus or malware into monitors or mouses or keyboards or anything that connects so that it reinstalls it like the USB did I went on Omegle on my first infected computer last night and found a guy who told me he's being paid by that hacker to fuck with the people he's hacked and then he's done this because I have a drug addiction and he's trying to teach me a lesson I don't know what to do I am honestly very scared can he hack into my iPhone as well and if so can you see through my cameras or hear me in my microphone someone please help me I don't know what the hell to do [link] [comments]  | ||
| Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device Posted: 22 Mar 2021 03:01 PM PDT Hi there, my computer was working fine yesterday but as soon as I got home today this error message came up. I have not changed anything. I have also checked my drive through windows installation media and the repair windows section. I can see my files are still all there through the command prompt. I just can't seem to boot into windows. I've tried and defaulted my bios back to optimised settings but the problem persists. The only thing I can think of is that my windows drive does not show as a UEFI drive. It is also a m.2 drive if that makes a difference. Is there anyway to get it to boot into windows without having to completely format the ssd as there are some important files on there. Many thanks :) [link] [comments]  |
