What features do you wish would return to Samsung phones? Posted: 12 Nov 2021 02:12 AM PST Seeing the release of Google's pixel 6 with all of its cool software features makes me question why Samsung doesn't push their software more when they have had lots of great ideas in the past, I feel like they are fully capable of doing the same as Google. My favourite two features Samsung removed are:

Samsung Smart Watch 4 Question Posted: 12 Nov 2021 11:59 AM PST I'm considering grabbing an LTE smart watch 4, and I'm curious as to how adding it to your mobile network works. Does it add to your phone bill as another line when it's connected to your phone? Or is there just another fee added to your bill monthly? I use T-mobile, if that matters. I've read the pages about "looking for a mobile network" in regards to adding it to your network from the app on your phone, but I'm unsure if that means it has to be added through your provider or if it will just charge you automatically after connecting it. Samsung Washer and Dryer- Smart Care Posted: 12 Nov 2021 11:01 AM PST This may be a stupid question but… I have a Samsung washer (forgot to write down the model) and dryer (DVE50R5400W) that have the SmartCare buttons on the machine BUT SmartThings support said they are not compatible smart machines… why do they have the buttons if they aren't compatible? Posted: 12 Nov 2021 11:20 AM PST Looking to upgrade my Note 9 to a Note 20 Ultra, but I want to make sure if the Note 20 Ultra has the 85% battery charger limiter like on the S21 Ultra. Can anyone verify this for me? [link] [comments]
For the love of God Samsung, please allow us to disable auto max HDR videos Posted: 12 Nov 2021 06:00 AM PST I love laying in bed and then being blasted in the face by what feels like the force of the god damn sun because for some reason these shitty videos over ride my system brightness settings. Samsung’s warranty care is a ridiculously time waster! Posted: 12 Nov 2021 09:45 AM PST Bought this OLED as a gift for my in-laws and of course got the 5 year Samsung warranty. Tv works great for 2 months then gets permanent lines that cover half the screen. We call, they run us through all the troubleshooting and we send pics and video of the issue, took about 3 days to go through the proper people. Then they say they'll send someone out to assess the problem….in 10 days. They come out and think the problem is one of the boards, so they order the part and it gets here in two days but said they'll be out next week to install it. So they finally come out and instal the part, which doesn't fix the issue, so perplexed, they said they'll run their next couple jobs and then contact someone to see where they go from here. To them they think they need to keep replacing more parts until they fix the issue, which might end up costing them more than the tv is worth. At this point I'm like confused and embarrassed, we're well within the warranty period, why not just replace the whole damn thing and be done with it? It's been over 3 weeks since they've been able to use the tv properly. How much longer are they going to make us wait? [link] [comments]

Samsung S6 Lite or Samsung S7 FE? Posted: 11 Nov 2021 07:39 PM PST Hello everyone! So I am a student and recently I realized that I needed a tablet for mostly note-taking (pdf markups, digital notes as I wanted to keep everything in one place) . (Note: I already have a laptop) Even after watching multiple videos on their comparison, I really can't choose between the S6 lite or S7 FE. The price difference between them in my country is pretty big (100 USD but if you multiply it as to my country's currency it becomes pretty big) so that's why I'm thinking hard about it lol. I also realized the specs are pretty similar and both of them have the S pen. So, which do you think is suitable for students? And if you think S7 FE is better should I get the 4gb or 6gb RAM? Default messages app or Messages by Google? I'm on AT&T and use the Google messages if that matters Posted: 12 Nov 2021 07:35 AM PST I only use the Google messages app because of the RCS but I'm not sure how I feel about it since it seems most people I know don't use it and rcs isn't a thing with them. Camera Screen Protector S21 Ultra Posted: 11 Nov 2021 08:02 PM PST What are your guys thoughts on a camera lense protector? I have one on my S21 Ultra and their was only one time that it may have came in handy when I shattered my first lense protector but I'm not sure if the lenses would have broke without the protector. The downside that I came across with having one on is lower quality pictures and light flares depending on the intensity of the light. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Nov 2021 07:32 PM PST Hi. So I'm planing to buy a s21 o s22 ultra and I have an iPhone 12 pro max I'd like to trade in to get some discount. The issue is this phone has some small dents near the charging port and there is a tiny lil crack in the back of the phone (left bottom corner, almost unnoticeable). How likely is it for this phone to get rejected by Samsung? Do they only accept perfect immaculate devices? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:19 PM PST My tablet died after I forgot to charge it, and now, after I got it working again, it prompts me to put in my pattern (which I forgot), with no other options or buttons other than emergency call. There's no way to put in a PIN or password. Is there any way to fix this? I have a Galaxy Tab A6 2016. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Nov 2021 01:15 PM PST Does anyone own this? Do you recommend this? It's to be delivered to me on 24th of this month, can Samsung deliver earlier than this date or does it have to be 24th? [link] [comments] |
