    I have a Redmi 8 that I got last year and noticed that the feature is missing in the newer Redmi 9 and Note 9 phones when I stopped by a nearby Xiaomi store. Is it gone for good or do some of the Redmi/Xiaomi phones still have them?

    I recently bought a redmi 9c. Loving it so far but I can't help but notice I don't have a theme store I would like new themes I am in Pakistan. Is it disabled on my phone region or have I completely misunderstood the theme store

    Issues after update to MIUI 12.0.5

    Hello all!

    Yes, this update has been out for a while now and the issues aren't exactly new to me but it's getting super annoying.

    I was wondering if anyone else has issues with not receiving notifications from Instagram and not all apps being able to display notifications on the lock screen/AOD. The second issue was resolved at a certain point in the 12.0.3 update and then with the 12.0.5 it got reverted back to the current situation.

    Still, the main issue is Instagram, and I did enable autostart and all that stuff that I found in online guides.

    I need help with screen shift app

    So i used it to play angry birds epic without it being stretched, but it made my screen unusable today, how do i fix this? i tried waiting 15~ seconds, rebooting. What should i do? Im on Redmi note 9 pro btw

    Xiaomi Mi Curved 34" Monitor flicker

    On their product website https://www.mi.com/global/monitor34/

    It says:

    Low blue light, no visible flicker*

    *No visible flicker means that under normal operating conditions no flickering can be seen with the naked eye.

    So my question is : is Xiaomi using PWM to control brightness? Is this a truly flicker-free monitor? I used the product for a few weeks and eventually sold it due to unacceptable eye fatigue. This wasn't the case for my old LG ultrawide (IPS) monitor which I had used for more than 3 years with no such issues. Or was it a difference between IPS and VA technology? Can anyone enlighten?

    Sudden restart/sensitive power button

    To someone having a issue that is related to this

    It happened to my note 6 pro two days ago

    1. sensitive touch on the power button
    2. sudden restart
    3. 3.sudden sending of S.O.S (due to sensitive power button)
    4. Unable to open notification bar (slide down from top edge of screen)
    5. Unable to operate edge screen command
    6. Unable to go back or close the application once you opened it.
    7. Unable to read memory card from file manager or even copy things from internal storage.
    8. Unable to access using phone to pc (pop up setting in the phone will not let you choose to set up a connection, only charging automatically)9.Unable to pass files for backup using ShareIt PC, coming from phone (i did kinda test via gallery, i select files then send it via shareIT PC)
    9. Did press/hold the power button together with volume down, nothing works
    10. The Phone is restarting too many times (only way to stop is to press the power button once, idk if that is the acceptable method but it works for me to stop the repetitive restart)
    11. Keyboard not showing up when im trying to enter characters(have not tried using a physical keyboard :example: connector for keyboard to phone)
    12. After the restart i notice that my phone is not lock (it usually does ask for pin after using fingerprint)
    13. .Last option i manage to find is WIPE ALL DATA

    In any case, you should have a sd card to save all the things before this happen to you.

    Feb 25, 2021I did wipe all data and by doing that Hold/press power + volume up until the menu shows in your screen, i have not search for other xiaomi model other than my phone which is xiaomi note 6 ProAND the outcome of wiping all data works for me, i just had to reactivate the phone using my MI account and passwordsetting up all over againBut it will really saves you big amount of free internal storage when you wipe it all :) (not really recommending to wipe but it is the last thing for me to do in this situation)

    Nova Launcher

    Hi all. I recently tried out Nova launcher with MIUI 12.2.5. But when I tried going into recent apps tray, the smooth animation was gone and a very laggy and choppy animation got in. I tried out several other 3rd party launchers and every single one of them had the same issue. Kindly advice.

    So they removed the blur for notifications and control center because of "lag", but left it for the apps menu screen

    MIUI 12 Battery Indicator

    Miui 12's battery indicator is a copy of the iOS battery indicator. In MIUI 11 it was better (imo). It was "specific" at least.

    I think Xiaomi should change the battery and wi-fi icons (Actually whole status bar) at least in Limitless Theme Pack which is more look a like to Android device. Not a iOS copy device. The old Poco F1's status bar was really close to a stock Android device. And it was more specific.

    I know i can change them in themes. But i think Xiaomi should do it with itself as stock.

    It's only my oppinion and suggestion. What do you guys think about it? Do you prefer MIU 12's status bar or 11's or the old Poco one?
