Lightweight Android Emulator for Windows 10? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 07:58 AM PST I run a small business and I need to have a social media presence. Some of these platforms are very aggressive with forcing you to use their services on mobile phones. Instagram for example, offers no means of uploading on the PC and its multi photo "Carousel" feature can once be achieved via paid services like this. I would much prefer to do this on my PC where I can automate and scale things effciently. So I ask, What android emulator would be ideal for me? I dont need gaming features. Just something light and unbloated as I will only be running 2-3 apps on it. Of course I would need the apps to be as fully futured as the real Android OS ones. [link] [comments] |
I developed an app for making text artworks out of images (similar to WordFoto for IOS) Posted: 25 Feb 2021 07:26 AM PST Text Photo will let you create pictures out of words. Just select a photo, choose your font and set of words and the app will do the rest. This is the initial release of the app. I greatly appreciate your comments, suggestions, and reviews. Posted: 24 Feb 2021 03:51 PM PST Hi everyone. Can someone suggest me some good tower defense to play on my smartphone and tablet? I was looking for both types of td: - the classic where enemies follow a path - something like plants vs zombie where you need to defend the base from a hoard. There is some good game that is not full of ads? It would be fine if there is a paid version too [link] [comments] |
Vanced won't connect me to my Google Account Posted: 25 Feb 2021 05:05 AM PST At first I had the error where it would say that vanced can't communicate with the google servers. I reinstalled MicroG and now I can log in. The problem is after I put in my password and email address, it just brings me back to the youtube start page logged off without any account connected. Posted: 24 Feb 2021 10:41 PM PST I'm using project M as the visualizer for Spotify on my Samsung TV through Google Chromecast. What I would like to do is set favorites within project M so that I'm not restricted by just the preset sequence of visualizers or the randomness. I want to mark my 10 or so favorites and have it only go through those. Can anyone help? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Feb 2021 07:52 AM PST Looking for an app where I can have a group check that something is done daily, and I would be able to see it was checked. Ideally with a push notification as a reminder, but I can do without that if I must. Does anyone have any ideas? [link] [comments] |
Any app that generates a thumbnail collage from a single video? Posted: 24 Feb 2021 10:36 PM PST I am looking for an app that can generate a single thumbnail collage JPG file from a single video file I choose. Preferably there should be an option to specify the thumbnail layout (like 4x3 meaning 4 rows with 3 thumbnails each). Or at least an option to specify the total number of thumbnails needed. Please let me know if you know of such an app. All thumbnail based apps I found are for generating thumbnails for YouTube. My use case is different. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Feb 2021 07:49 AM PST Does anyone know of a "focus based" browser for android? I'm looking for something extremely lightweight that doesn't allow video playback. No photos either if possible. I have been using Via with great success using its disable javascript and block images feature but that comes with two trade offs. Disabling java breaks many websites and I still have the option to view photos and videos if I choose to. This isn't a huge deal as it still forces me to enter a few menus to enable these things and that's enough to deter me but I'd prefer having something totally void of these options. An alternative to Casualis that is not a live wallpaper Posted: 25 Feb 2021 10:26 AM PST Is there any wallpaper shuffler that is not a live wallpaper like Casualis? I don't want one that is a live wallpaper because Kolorette doesn't work with live wallpapers and Casualis is messing up my wallpapers (zooming or stretching them) probably because my new phone's aspect ratio is 20:9. Posted: 25 Feb 2021 09:52 AM PST Net guard , adaway, adguard, blockada, dns66, personal dns filter etc. How all these apps differ from each other? Which one is the best at blocking ads (systemwide as well as in-apps) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2021 09:17 PM PST Hello! Awhile back I posted about playing The Oregon Trail HD (2009) on a modern android device. However, I have run into a new problem, which is that the game is very small in the bottom left corner. The controls seem to stay where they should, but the game window is very small, way too small to play. I thought that maybe the problem was that the game was programmed for a specific amount of pixels, instead of adjusting to the size of the screen, but after attempting to run the same apk on an older, smaller device and having the exact opposite problem (game window was much too big for the screen), I realized that may not be the case. I'm kind of at a loss of where to move next, as I am no where near smart enough to edit the files, nor can I seem to find a way to emulate older versions of Android OS on my phone. I'm open to any and all solutions, so any help is apreciated! [link] [comments] |
Metronome app that supports arbitrarily low BPM? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 09:09 AM PST All the metronome apps I've tried bottom out at around 20 BPM. I need something that can run at 6 BPM or lower. [link] [comments] |
App to change info on the caller screen? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 09:04 AM PST Hi guys! Is there any way I can edit the info that pops up when calling/receiving a call? I would like to add the company name and some others if possible. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Best app to train focus and attention? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 08:40 AM PST I am looking for an app which would have a training program designed to train focus and attention to help in reading books, studying etc. [link] [comments] |
Goodlock Update Difficulties - suggestions? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 08:10 AM PST Samsung forced my snow cone update this morning and I'm now having a ton of trouble with the new Goodlock update. It seems like in order to use task manager functions we now have to switch to Samsung One UI Home - has anyone found a way to use task manager with another UI (I use Nova)? Or any alternatives to goodlock task manager at this point - even with the Home UI app it seems like there's no longer a vertical list option which is what I really prefer. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2021 10:53 PM PST it needs to be able to run/scan automatically in background, also if it can be setup to auto offer / auto connect to the currently strongest signal wireless network in range would be great [link] [comments] |
Cycling route planner and navigator Posted: 25 Feb 2021 01:04 AM PST I have recently started cycling and am looking for an app which allows me to plan a route, preferably by drawing on the map, and then navigate that route whilst cycling, a bit like using a sat nav/google maps. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them, thanks [link] [comments] |
Is there any way to assign different default browser for different apps? Posted: 24 Feb 2021 11:28 PM PST Like using chrome to read articles from reddit and 1dm for opening downloadable links from gmail... Chrome x reddit 1dm browser x gmail [link] [comments] |
Good app to take time-lapse photos, not video? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 12:43 AM PST I'm looking for an app to take pictures on a given interval - preferably with manual settings for ISO / exposure / white balance, etc. so they're consistent. All the time-lapse apps I've seen want to output a video, but I would much rather assemble the pics myself afterwards. Suggestions? [link] [comments] |
Wordsmyth - My ‘stuck-in-lockdown’ word game is out now! Posted: 25 Feb 2021 06:15 AM PST Hey! After months of hard work, squeezed in between zoom calls and home schooling, I'm very proud to finally release my new app, Wordsmyth. At its core is a puzzle familiar to everyone - create as many words as you can from just 9 letters. You are told how many words can be created, and given a clear list of those you have already found. Wordsmyth takes this basic concept and refines it into a beautiful, daily experience - designed to provide a single point of calm and focus amongst the stresses of everyday life. You can find it here on Google Play You can watch the trailer for Wordsmyth here Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Looking for android App that records uncompressed and unprocessed videos? Posted: 25 Feb 2021 06:10 AM PST Hi, for a project where I want to measure really small and periodic movements, I am looking for an App that records pretty much unprocessed and uncompressed videos. I think that stuff loke color balance, auto focus and especially the compression lead to effects that are probelmatic for me. Does someone here now an App that just gives you back, what the photo sensor measured, or at least just the single frames, without any further compression and processing? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
