    So I got my earbuds like 11 months ago and I had no issues and my experience was very good. Today I came from work and I plugged my earbuds to my computer to charge them as usual after 1 hour it exploded and battery caught on fire, lucky we put it out fast. Now whole body is melted and idk what to do. Has anyone faced this kinda problem before?

    Is it any performance difference between high end devices gestures and midrange or budget device gestures?

    I am really curious about that. I love using gestures but they are not always as smooth as it should be. I have never tried a high end xiaomi device so i really want to learn is there any performance difference between them.

    Xiaomi Smartmi Humidifier 2 making a ticking/clicking noise, why?

    Bought it a few days ago and it started making a fast ticking/clicking noise when it runs. It appears to be the fan motor, but I have no idea how to fix this and what could be the problem. Any help or resources are appreciated.

    Screen desaturates when viewing photos in certain apps

    Before anyone suggests it I have put the color correction settings to standard and changing them to anything else results in the same thing as well. I'm on my Poco x3 and I first saw that the screen gets really desaturated and washed out when setting up a wallpaper through a third party app. Now I noticed it again when viewing photos in an SMS app. I tried to screen record it and wanted to post it here but found that in the screen recording the colors don't change at all. I find this to be quite peculiar and it all reverts to normal after a simple locking of the phone and unlock. But it happens every time so it gets annoying,all of the apps are desaturated after opening photos until I lock the screen. Any advice?

    Can't set default music app

    I have a Redmi note 7. When I click on a music file in the file manager app it tries to open the stock music app. Rocket player is my preferred music app. This only started happening recently.

    I've tried everything I can think of: I made sure rocket player was the default, forced stopped the stock app, cleared the data, and downloaded some app management apps. Nothing worked.

    It seems a minor problem, but it drives me crazy. I'd like to root the phone, but I don't have the skills nor a modern PC to do that. If anyone has any advice I'd be very grateful. TIA.

    HELP!! Stock RN6 pro stuck in mi-recovery 3.0 :-(

    Hello,

    A few days back, when I was using my phone (redmi note 6 pro tulip), the screen suddenly greyed out and started rebooting. Within a minute, the phone went to mi-recovery 3.0.

    Now, no matter how I try to reboot the phone (from recovery or by hard buttons) , it boots directly into recovery. Even If I don't do anything, it just cycles through the grey screen, mi logo, and recovery.

    More info:

    - The phone is completely stock, original MIUI 11 ( android 9.0) firmware from OEM. No root access, no unlocked bootloader or anything else like that. Warranty period is over. - I can access fastboot mode. - usb debugging isn't on iirc. - I tried force shut down by hard buttons and disconnecting the battery, but when rebooting again, nothing changes. - I tried booting to safe mode but it just shows a black screen and a small safe mode logo in the bottom left. - mi-recovery 3.0 only allows to wipe all data, which is unfeasible since I have alot of unbacked data that I can't lose.

    What can I do now? I've heard edl flashing from an authorized account can save data. And something about a chinese mi pcsuite version. Could anyone provide more information on these? Or any other way to solve the problem?

    I want to recover data (photos, videos and docs) and revive my phone.

    APPLICATIONS PENDING

    Hello, I have a Mi 9 T Pro and everytime, I get this strange thing like all of my applications will show pending and I can't open em and I needa reboot my phone or remove em manually, it's so strange, why is it making it like that please?

    Changing servers.

    Hey all.

    I currently have 2 devices linked to my Australian server account. These products are the global versions sold within Australia.

    1. Air purifer 2s
    2. Xiaomi gen 2 vacuum.

    I also have several devices on the China mainland server purchased the the likes of gear best and AliExpress for instance.

    I'm using the same Xiaomi account and normally swap between the to servers by using the swap server in the app.

    Tried consolidating my two Australian devices into China mainland server.

    First I removed them from my Australian account. Then reset the device and tried then adding it onto the China mainland account.

    Couldn't find it.

    Is this because I already added them once on the Aus region that I now can't add them onto the Chinese region?

    i just messed around with my 16gb sd card and i used it to expand my storage but when i remove the sd card and download apps it wont download it and say that i dont have enough storage, please help if you know something.

    Hey. Recently I decided that Gboard is kinda boring. So decided to check if there is a stock keyboard and.... I can't find it! I can only find voice search and Gboard. WHERE did the stock keyboard go. If someone doesn't want to use it basically he got no choice? Any thought?

    Google assistant bug

    Is Worthy get a Redmi Note 9S (Curtana)?

    Hello everybody!

    Please, read all the post.

    I have a few question about this device because I really want a powerful phone but cheaper than other at the same range.

    You could say: "Get the Poco X3, is better". I say: "YES, is better." But in my country, the X3 have a big difference of price (about 100 Dollars) respect the Redmi 9S. Both of them are 128Gb variant.

    Well, now my questions are these: 1- Does the R9S have screen issues? I read about phantom screen and other stuf like that, but I dont know if are a lot of them affected by this issue. And I read about two types of screens (Ly... something, and Hu... something. Sorry for this, I cant remember, and I lost the website)

    2- What custom rom is better for new games and performance? I will change the raw Miui whit another rom but I dont know if I will get the latest Playstore with any custom Rom.

    I'm thinking get Miui.eu at 12.0.2 version.

    3- How is the performance at games like Music games? I now how the phone works with games like Genshin Impact and CoD. But I want to know how respond at the touches.

    You can answer any other things about this phone, because I dont know a lot of things about Redmi phones.

    Sorry if I miss something at my writting, my English is not the best.

    Ive just finished setting up my brand new note 9s and noticed it has a small scratch/chunk missing from the bezel just of the screen :(
    im just wondering what i can do ? will i be able to get a straight swap from mi.com at my door or will i need to send this one back and wait for them to inspect and send me a new one witch is going to be difficult as i don't have use of another phone :( this one was brought to replace my old phone whos battery is kaput :(

    has anyone had any dealings with the warranty service with mi.com ?

    Will the Mi Note 10 Lite (Global version) have the 12.5 update?

    Hello! Nice to meet you all! I currently have a MI A2 and I want to buy the MI Note 10 Lite 64gb (M2002F4LG) and I am not sure if the 12.5 will be available for it. I've searched everywhere, and it only says "mi note 10 lite youth and 5g"... Can you guys clarify it to me? Thanks!

    Last ROM update on Mi 9 incompatible with Magisk?

    Last xiaomi.eu ROM (20.12 28) doesn't work with Magisk 20.4 on Mi 9. After installing Magisk the phone goes in a boot loop. I had to reinstall the ROM to erase Magisk patch.
