First thing to do on brand new S21, Disable Facebook stuff!
I thought this wasn't supposed to ship before the 29th
S21 Ultra (Verizon) preorder still "in process" without any update about shipping carrier or tracking.
Be sure to check your FedEx app! (US)
I recorded my use of S20 over the course of one week, and here are the results! (WiFi/bluetooth/GPS on, 60-70% brightness, 120hz at FHD)

Looks like the ECG and blood pressure measurements features will soon be available in 31 countries. AND the Samsung Health app update will be released on February 4th!!

Preordered the Ultra on Jan 14th, the first-day preorders were available. Still haven't received word on if my unit has shipped or who is fulfilling the shipment. Scheduled delivery has remained at this Friday since I ordered the device. If you preordered the Ultra, what has your experience been like? FWIW I got the VZW model, not sure if that influences delivery time.

Really need some upgrade advice! From s20 to s21

I really need some help, please!

I upgrade every year by trading in my old phone. I usually pre-order because of the offers from Samsung. Pre-ordering not only allows me to get the newest phone with a deep discount but Samsung also offers like $200 you can spend on various other items.

This is the first year where im not sure if it's a no brainer. Does it make sense to get the newer phone? If I keep my s20, i doubt they would make the trade-in value on par with the s21 come next year. Do most of you see this as a downgrade?

I do use google photos to backup my media, so I don't think the storage thing is THAT big of an issue. I know the screen resolution on the 21 is lower, but would we even be able to tell? What am I truly missing by upgrading?

Galaxy S9 to S21?

Occasionally lurking on this sub - most definitely a ftp.

I apologize for such a beginner/noob question but how do you guys feel upgrading to the S22 from a S9?

I rarely upgrade my phones and I've been thinking it's finally time. I use T-Mobile and it looks like they're offering trade in bonuses for S9 towards a S21. Should I just save myself some $ and upgrade to the S20 instead? I've been looking at spec comparisons of course. Either 20/21 is a huge upgrade from my s9. I've probably used about 80%of the storage on my s9 without a need of a microsd. I do use Google drive for anything large. Other than that my phone is mainly used for social media, emails, games(nothing crazy).

What's your guys' opinion? Much thanks! 😬

Does this phone come with a pre applied screen protector on it?
