App to save battery constantly kept in charge Posted: 20 Jan 2021 11:27 AM PST Hi everyone I am giving my grandma my old smartphone (Asus Zenfone 4 MAX) because she doesn't have a house phone connection. She will keep it constantly in charge, but when an emergency arises she will need to take it with her at the hospital. Is there an app which will make sure the battery never goes flat, but still keeps it in a decent enough shape to be able to use the phone without having the battery destroyed by the constant charging? I am searching for an app to show this media in chronological order, similar to Google photos. I am searching now many hours but I found nothing. There are a lot of gallery apps, but with no network/samba support. There are some apps with network support but I have found no with chronological order of more than one folder. updated Android app: not over-writing file Posted: 20 Jan 2021 11:27 AM PST I have an android app, that i have posted to private google play store. I updated the app, published it, released it to production. The problem is, there is one file that it is not overwriting, it is an XDB file. only 2 files have changed, 1 is the manifest file, the other is the xdb file. Is there a way to stop WhatsApp from taking so much space? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:41 AM PST My phone is essentially a glorified potato and I can't move apps to my sd card which means they have to fight for limited emulated space. The only problem is what WhatsApp is at the top of the food chain with about 1.5gb space for user data, why? I have no idea. I've tried clearing cache, stickers and sticker thumb, media and even ALL MY CHATS but nothing seems to work. The only thing I can do is clearing user data which essentially deletes and reinstalls the app. This is a drag because I'm always losing stuff. The Loft is a traditional RSS & Atom reader, but comes with a slightly new way of feed management. Instead of grouping by feed, like most readers, you can assign any number of labels (much alike to GMail) to articles and filter via them. Certain apps not working when on wifi Posted: 20 Jan 2021 10:57 AM PST As of today some of my apps aren't loading or letting me login at all when on my wifi. My wifi seems to be working fine as I can watch videos/music/etc elsewhere. The apps that aren't working that I've noticed is twitter (not loading images), podbean isn't loading at all, and my draftkings app is saying poor connection and unable to login. Any ideas? [kaspersky] infected file cannot be place in quarantined Posted: 20 Jan 2021 10:28 AM PST After running the Kaspersky scan, several files cannot be quarantined. The team told me to either reflash the phone or to root it, so I chose the hard factory reset (vol up + power on). But first app I reinstalled was the anti-virus and it keeps saying that infected files cannot be quarantined... The Kingroot app didn't work neither. Is there anything else I can do?
