I replaced my PSU, from a 660 to a 750 and I'm now getting this error. This didn't happen earlier today. I unplugged my machine and moved it to a different location. Tech Support

Hi guys, I wandered if someone could help me. My Laptop(Asus) is broken, i'm really really scared and sad, i don't know what to do anymore...

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 03:12 AM PST

This morning I tryed to start my laptop but it said that there was an error and that windows will start a repair. Then, the repair didn't work apparently so my laptop started doing a diagnosis. When the diagnosis was done, it said that the system repair tool failed. Then I have the option between restart my laptop(which just start this cycle again and again and again) or "other options"

    In other options I can:

    1) quit and start as window 10(I tryed, it failed) 2)turn off my laptop 3)use an input device to repair window 4) going into advanced options

When I go to advanced options I can:

1)Reset my laptop(I tryed it but It failed) 2)going into other advanced options

When I go to other advanced options I can:

1)use the system restart tool(i tryed, it failed) 2)go to parameters 3)use the invite tool command 4)uninstal the updates 5)change the parameters of the microprogramm UEFI 6)restor the system from my laptop(tryes it, failed) 7)repair from a picture of the system

That's all guys... This laptop is old, not cheap but not really expensive, I got it as a gift for graduation 4 years ago and never stopped using it since. I want to be a concept artist in video games, i'm working every day on my laptop to reach my dream, it's my whole life. Unfortunately I don't make enought as a living to afford repairing it or bying a new one, if I had money, that would be the first thing I would put it on but I don't have it. I am desperate right now, this laptop is too precious for me, it's the tool for getting a chance to reach my dream. I truly really hope someone will be able to help me...really. Thanks for reading this far and for your time

Ps: I'm Sorry for my bad english

What's the best way to reliably get ballpoint pen ink off of a laptop camera lens?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 08:40 AM PST

Short story, kid claims he put or drew on the lens on the school-issued laptop with a ballpoint pen and now the image is fuzzy for Teams and such. I tried a basic alcohol wipe with no obvious effects, but this was literally a minute before school started so not much use.

    White/Grey Screen of Death?

    White/Grey Screen of Death?

    Guys, can someone help me?

My PC suddenly gets a white or grey screen. But, everytime this happen I take a screenshot (Win+PrtScr) and then reboot. Sometimes it remains a day without this error, and sometimes few seconds after boot.

When screen becomes white or grey, usually PC stills working, I listen to a song, or a video. But, the screenshot shows up a screen with the small resolution of 640x480p (VGA). I think it's switching from HDMI to VGA output.

One of the screenshots I took

I have experienced a BLACK screen problem months ago. I was in other city visiting my parents and PC was off for 5 months and just cleaned the video card when I came back, and it stopped.

I am about to be crazy haha.

    Configs:

    PNY 1050ti

    MSI B250m

    i5 7400

    Corsair CX550

    16Gb HyperX + Adata (8+8) 2400MHz

    New Gaming build problem

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 05:44 PM PST

    Hello there,

Just finished building my first pc a few days ago. Here is my setup:

    -Ryzen 7 3700x -Asus strix b550 f (WiFi) mobo -gigabyte 5700xt

Whenever I am finished playing a game, my system shuts down and tries to boot back up. While it's trying to boot back up, the Q-LEDs go from red(CPU), yellow(Dram), and then white(VGA). It does this about 2 times and then remains white but screen won't turn on. If I turn it off and then on, it'll work perfectly fine but it does this after I game. I'm assuming it has to do with some of the GPU setting but I'm not too sure what it could be.

Galaxy S9+ has detected moisture in charging port for the past 3 days

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 04:16 PM PST

My Galaxy S9+ says it has moisture in the USB port. I've had this problem for 3 days straight and can't seem to figure out how to get rid of it I've tried everything. Blowing air into the port, letting it sit to dry, holding power and lower volume when starting up the phone. Nothing is working, help would be greatly appreciated.
