Just a reminder this is the new pool we're using to raise money for a new Exynos 850 BSP. A basic explanation of why this is needed is so we have up to date source for devices that use the new "Abox" audio source and more stuff such as the new display formats for Exynos8895 and above. In other words, source codes that'll help making it possible for developers to fix more bugs and bring up to date features to some phones samsung dropped support for. We are 1300€ away from our goal. | I bought a Samsung Galaxy A01 Core as a backup phone and I fell in love with. Posted: 04 Nov 2020 07:36 AM PST Hi everyone. A few days ago I picked up a Galaxy A01 Core (2/32) as a secondary "field" phone and despite some short comings on screen responsiveness and the sub par camera I just love its size and battery life. For the record I didnt get this phone for the kicks of it. My main phone is a Galaxy A51 and while I love it, its size is impractical for field operations (my line of work). The A51 does not fit comfortably inside the pockets of my jeans which forces me to carry a small satchel around. The A51 is also difficult to cary and type with one hand. The A01 Core is just the perfect size. Its not as small as the 1st Gen iPhone SE and its not too big and too heavy for one hand use. Its pretty amazing how they can also pack almost 3000MaH in it when the 2nd Gen iPhone SE doesnt even have 2000 MaH. My only problem is the camera, poor screen responsiveness and slow usb-a charging but thats probably expected for a 75$ phone. It makes me wonder why Android phone manufacturers havent bothered to make a competent mid range compact phone. I would certainly pay 300-400$ for a "mini version" of the A51 or the A71. | S10+ Exynos EXTREME battery drain at 15-25% Posted: 04 Nov 2020 03:44 AM PST My S10+ is having issues since 2 months now. Whenever I am around 15-25% of battery it starts to drop rapidly! I mean like 1% per second. Even when I plug my charger in, it still goes down untill it hits 0% and turns off. Anybody else having this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
