    Hello. I released my app and after couple months got a mail that it is violating "Site Behavior: Navigation" Policy. I have updated my app ten times and request for rereview but I am keep on getting same violation. This is cause of any librares in app code?

    Question about Master/Detail flow and fragments

    I want to create a sort of settings page, where the setting category names are on the left column (for a tablet) and the settings are on the right column for that category.

    I'm having trouble understanding how to make it so that if I click on an item (category) on the left column, the correct settings page/layout appears on the right column.

    Am I supposed to make several different fragments as my different settings pages or am I supposed to have just one "fragment" as the detail column that just switches what it displays?

    So how do I: Open main activity, navigate to item list activity. The list of items then should appear on the left, and the first setting page should appear on the right. Clicking through different items will show me different settings pages.

    Subscription Deadline 1st November

    My application currently supports subscriptions via the play-store. However it does not yet support Account Hold which is mandatory by November 2020. What will happen to my app if it doesn't support Account Hold by 1st November 2020?

    Hiding toolbar and bottom nav in certain screens (navigation component)

    Okay so I've tried these two ways:

    1. Hiding toolbar and bottom nav in the onDestinationChanged listener: This causes some flickering and doesn't look good if I'm using transitions like slide.
    2. Creating multiple nav hosts. One for the whole screen and another for the screen between toolbar and bottom nav: This doesn't have any flickering or transition problems but it feels hacky when I want to navigate to a root destination from the inner nav host (like using a view model).

    I know this has been asked many times but I can't really find a good answer that eliminates both the problems. How do you guys handle this scenario?

    And have spent 5 years for it)

    The 5th year since everything has been tested, completed, and somehow there is no enough of organic traffic.

    Well, let's start from the very beginning:)

    Our Booblyc Team consists of 3 people:

    A programmer - nowhere without him, I am a designer and a guy in all matters are decider: finances, balances, ideas, how to save our nerves (not his) and much more. We called ourselves the glorious name Booblyc (yes, yes, you can read it like 2 separated words)) and were ready to rock the game market.

    We started back in about 2011, when everyone was playing browser games. The first completely primitive game we sold for $ 1000 or $ 2000, I don't remember now. Oh, I remember that evening of joy, first earned money in pleasure)))

    It was the beginning, we sell our games at Armor Games and others websites.

    And then our games have became more interesting and bigger, Tower Defense genre, also inspired by the famous Kingdom Rush. I diligently copied their graphics (at least I believed in it), the guys made and balanced the game. We named it Incursion, it was sold to the Armors for quite a good price. And at this time, the games began to be ported to devices. Our game got stuck - we did not receive the expected money from its promotion, because no one began to promote it. We were refused in it with words -" if you can redone the graphics".. Ahem, it's offensive - one of my first design crises, it's even funny :D

    For some time we were doing reskins of our own games. And so, starting in 2015, we decided to start creating our masterpiece. Something global for mobile devices and tablets. And since we an old hand at Tower Defense, we expectedly decided to choose this genre.

    Millions of sketches, debates on ideas, where to start, with the plot, with the characters or monetization?)) In a word, the process of creation. I still have spied at the graphics in Kingdom Rush, because vector graphics and animations are my skill. And then, I really wanted to copy a little of their cuteness, masterpiece and pleasantness of art)) The guys were actively looking for something to borrow from other games, in terms of monetization, of course. Thus, some time later, the number of levels began to grow, more and more. Added cards for upgrading heroes. Clothes, weapons, and even pets. The images of some heroes we took from the past of our Thing TD game, some invented gradually, by brainstorming. I am glad that it was still fun. For example, how the last hero appeared - a girl (the only one among the others), a parody of Gadget. And her weapons - flying pugs with grenades and a catwoman's costume))

    Added Tournaments, Leagues - something for retention a player.

    Then costs for voice acting, music, even script writing appeared! Yes, this is a separate moment, since we tried in every possible way to make the game filled with humor and jokes. Our main investor of soul is a programmer, not only physically but mentally. Bloody rabbits - when you throw a card and smash the enemy with a wave of angry rabbits, making a bloody mess from them. Where is the humor, you ask? It sounds so-so - but it looks completely different XD It's my lovely magic ^^ I had to mention. Or creation of all sorts of phrases like "Call Mom © " Mom ​​- which you read while you wait for the download. The scriptwriters are handsome - they gave us a lot of funny dialogues - which are sometimes found at the beginning of the levels.

    Then there were trips to various Game Dev and Game Gathering in search of publishers. Someone was found. The game was taken for 1-2 months. Something was invested in it, we were waiting for a response.

    Once, a large company have offered us a contract for a year, to they would guide and finance us. And now the contract was almost signed - painfully, with nerves and stress of our comrade. But then the Corona SDK - it is on it that our TD is written, something began to junk there, and we were afraid not to do the necessary plugins on time. So our contract was not signed. We jumped off.. Was that a right decision or not - we will never know.

    We started looking for a job)))) After so many years)

    There was another attempt, with one company - they also invest several thousand into us, and looked at the metrics and added lots of ads. But even then the matter did not go further, they counted on the best data.

    And now the game is with us again, it brings not too much.. And we are still making small attempts to change icons, write tags, working on ASO at least somehow increase organic traffic.

    So if any of you can advise something - I will be very glad and grateful for this! Or it was just interesting for you to read our story) Guys who played our Booblyc TD - yes, finally we gave it that name - they do really like it. I am sure that we are doing something wrong or not enough in its promotion. And even if it does not bring us a million - this is already obvious. But to raise the current 300-400 downloads a day - I think it's more than possible))

    Why so much boilerplate for a simple BannerAd!? :\

    AdContainerView is a simple, lifecycle aware, plug & play wrapper over Google AdMob's AdView (Banner Ad), which handles most of the stuff by itself.

    For the simplest use:
    You just need to add AdContainerView in your layout,
    define 3 parameters: adUnitId, adSize, autoLoad & that's it!

    AdContainerView hooks to your Activity's lifecycle process & handles AdView's lifecycle (Resume, Pause, Destroy Ad).
    This is most helpful when you just want to add a simple Banner Ad without any boilerplate.

    The library is written in Kotlin.

    Why is the boolean variable checked required here? Won't the switch case match only that button which has been clicked (which will be contained in the view variable)? What's the purpose of the checked variable here?

    Google Play Project very abusive

    This is our latest issue with Google's automated processes. Our Galaxy Store app version is being flagged by the Play Protect service - the same version is also offered as a back up on our website. Several of our users have claimed it has warned them or even removed the app from their device! Is this normal? Is this new? Our app is currently available on Google Play with a different version number.

    Currently, I using the above image, for Android 11 testing. (I am using latest Android Studio 4.0.1, and I do not see any image named Android 11). The best I can get is Image named 10.0+ with API level 30

    I am not sure whether this image reflects the truth of Android 11, as I encounter some issue, while testing on Context.getExternalFilesDir behavior. I expect there are no behaviour change on Context.getExternalFilesDir (Yes. I am aware of scoped storage and the limitation of Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory)
